Gamers Assembly 2016 Viewer's Guide

Eleven European teams will prepare for battle at Poitiers, France to fight for a shot at gold, glory, and the title of Champions at the Gamers Assembly 2016 LAN. With a plethora of French players and some other familiar faces heading to the competition, it will be a clash of the Euros during the two day LAN. To get everyone ready for the event, we’ve compiled a viewer’s guide to fill everyone in on the key details for the tournament

Format

The eleven teams competing will first play in a round robin group stage, where each team will play against every other team once, gaining points based on if they win or lose. After the group stage, teams will head to the double elimination bracket and will be seeded based on their performance in the group stage. The maps are fixed for the group stage BO1 games, and cycle through the ETF2L map pool.

Map Pool

The map pool will include the following maps:

  • Badlands

  • Snakewater

  • Gullywash

  • Process

  • Product

  • Sunshine

  • Granary Pro

Prize Pool

The €2700(~$3,000) prize pool will be divided among the Top 3 finishers as shown:

  1. €1500
  2. €900
  3. €300

Coverage

We’ll have our own on-site production to bring you all the action over the course of the LAN, and we'll be keeping you updated through our social media pages here:

Our EU casters Admirable and Twiggy will be taking over the mic during the event, while our production will make sure you don't miss a single minute of action. Our casters and crew includes:

  • Admirable - lead commentator
  • Twiggy - lead commentator
  • DavidTheWin - cameraman and production
