Wiethoofd_KermitYou could also make a really big resist icon that covers the shadow when you're on vacc, it's not the prettiest but it does help you see incredibly easily what resist you're on.If you're unlucky and die with 99% charge and have a very big charge font the entire shadow needs to be able to be covered, which could result in a very big resist icon, one with a dropshadow or outline defined would be the easiest solution.

@ DR34M AmmoInClip in HudAmmoWeapons font and PlayerStatusHealthValue in HudPlayerHealth are the ones you need to replace, or find name and edit it in clientscheme.res

For the tournament spectator hud.

On an other hud I worked on, I had two files (spec_red and spec_blue) in vgui/replay/thumbnails to edit the background of the player info while spectating a tournament match.
I tried doing the same with a hud from scratch today, but adding the file doesn't have any effect in game.
Do the files need to have a specific size in pixels, do I need to add an element to my SpectatorTournament.res or was the way it works changed?

@ JB: You need to change the borders responsible for the background colors to use those specific images in the spectator tournament panels in clientscheme.res: TFFatLineBorder, TFFatLineBorderRedBG & TFFatLineBorderBlueBG

Does anyone know a way to use sub-controls or multiple controls for damage or health-pickup numbers? I'm trying to get a sub-label to make a background for the main labels.

Perhaps "associate" might help me with this, but I don't know how to use it.

I want to add a bar for my uber at the bottom of my screen as well as the uber percentage below my crosshair. I use medhud if that helps. Also is there a way I can move the target Id of my healing target to above my crosshair? Or maybe just the health and name? Without the background?

I love Toonhud, but minmode just puts everything closer to the crosshair and doesn't make the scoreboard 6v6, which I'd like. Can anyone tell me how to keep the positions of the health and ammo the same but change the scoreboard into the version where both teams are along the left side of the screen? (like eve hud's minmode).
If that's not possible, it would at least be nice to have my team on the left side of my screen while I'm dead while in tournament mode.

where are they placed? They only work in vgui/replay/thumbnails and make sure you have proper .vmts set up.

1) yes.

2) make it the same as the first subcontrol, but call it something else like "KnucklesCrosshair2" (with the same name in the fieldName), and change the labelText to whatever corresponds in the knucklescrosses font file.

The images generated in the replay thumbnail folder are sv_pure safe due to the images not being included in the game by default. If you were to look at the replay menu while in a valve server and that folder wasn't set the way it is, the thumbnails wouldn't load.

The only good thing to come out of the replay system.

Does anyone know why some buttons in menus start armed? Like the back button in the MvM lobby and competitive lobby. It's even armed to start in the default HUD.

How do I use damage numbers from one HUD on a different HUD? I am trying to get damage numbers from Eve HUD onto Ahud. Thanks.
I am assuming it has something to with the file resource/ui/HudDamageAccount.res
