he is definitely not right when he calls for people to vote trump over hillary because "she is a literal criminal"

putting aside the fact that trump, by that criteria, is also a literal criminal, the idea of voting for ANY anti-establishment candidate over a "real" politician no matter what their policy positions is ridiculous

and anyone who jumps parties before voting for the lesser of two evils is horribly misinformed

sheepy_dogs_handMake sure to vote for trump in the republican. Even if you don't like him Ted Cruz is fucking insane and Trump is a saint compared to him. He doesn't get as much media attention but if you quickly research his policies you will understand.

If Bernie doesn't make it against Hilary make sure you vote for Trump! Hilary is a literal criminal and she shouldn't even be running in the first place.

I personally support Rubio and would vote for him although I don't think he has a good chance of winning. I think it will be between Hilary and Trump.

i think if rubio or cruz were the nominee they would beat hillary but trump has no chance imo
rubio is way more rational then cruz and has a better chance of beating hillary so i have no idea why America wants to pick cruz over rubio

It kinda does affect me though. America is a very powerful country and being from the UK they have a big influence on us. USA is one of our closest allies and who they have running the country affects the whole world. Also its fun and interesting, I don't know what the problem is with me being interested in it.

Can you explain how Trump is a criminal on the same level as Hilary? As far as I know there is evidence of Hilary being involved in many crimes while Trump seems to be a lot more clean. That's only one of the many many reasons why you shouldn't vote for Hilary.

Also I don't know how the American voting system works that well but if it's almost guaranteed that one of two candidates were gonna win, wouldn't you want to vote for the lesser of two evils. It seems more logical to me.

The thing is though Hillary has actually broken laws and compromised national security, Trump has done some ethically shady stuff but he hasn't flat out broken the law and sent Americans to their death in order to make a few million.

About Sheepy, despite not being particularly informed, has the right to have an opinon on this, everyone does. Maybe some Americans don't realize that America is by far the most powerful and influential nation in the world. The reason Europe and most of the western world can get away with having such small militaries(look at NATO members who border Russia) is because they are allied with the US.

Where do you get your information from sheepy? The more posts I read on this topic from you, the more I don't understand where you're getting fed information. Do you watch specific youtube channels, or read certain newspapers? I'm very curious, you have some oddly specific viewpoints that don't seem to align with reality.

I might have some odd viewpoints but not here. If you are talking about the posts I just made here Hilary is known to have done some pretty awful criminal things that's not just my odd viewpoint, i'm pretty sure there is evidence out there and it's been covered many many times, it's pretty well known. Also as far as I know Hilary is winning the democratic race and Trump is winning the Republican, again I don't see what is so odd about this. Maybe you are thinking about something different but as far as I know my last couple of posts here are well known facts. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong about this.

You can literally just google "Hilary Clinton Criminal". There are countless articles on her and I thought people here would know about this. Not only is she a criminal but she lies and lies and lies, I know that all politicians do this but she really does lie a lot. Trump gets all the hate but in my opinion he is a saint compared to the likes of Clinton.

Here's a few links I got from googling "Hilary Clinton Criminal", if this link isn't enough for you google it yourself and pick one of the links yourself there are a lot of them.

I didn't mean a literal criminal as in she has been convicted. You only have to look up the evidence yourself and its pretty clear she has lied and done horrible "criminal" things her whole life. Also ondkaja the word criminal has more meanings than someone who has been convicted of a crime. I think I made it perfectly clear that I wasn't using the word criminal in that way.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/criminal

1. Of, involving, or having the nature of crime: criminal abuse.
3. (Law) of, involving crime

Also can you stop it eee I seriously don't know what your problem is i've tried to be polite and everything but you are being really mean to me for no good reason can you just stop.

I was using it as a term to describe her and to express my feelings towards her. See sometimes people use words like "criminal" or "dickhead" despite not being a convicted criminal or having a dick on their head. It's the way the English language has developed and it makes it much easier to describe things.

I do agree with Sheepy on the fact that Cruz is worse than Trump. Both are awful choices for presidency, but what reassures me slightly about Trump is that I feel that he's more competent than he lets on; he deliberately drums up controversy and intrigue to appeal to the Republican voting base. Cruz on the other hand is a 100% nutjob, who instead of funding drone strikes against ISIS, wants to bring back carpet bombing, which would cause catastrophic collateral damage to both innocents and property (as someone said earlier, he's been quoted as to wanting to make sand glow). Rubio seems to be the only remotely electable out of the Republican nominations due to his higher appeal to moderates than the alternatives.

As for the Democrats, I reassure myself about a Hillary presidency by envisioning her as Bill's meat puppet. She's a weak option for the Democrats, and I would have preferred Sanders, but her moderate stances are far and away better than the anti-progressive Republican stances.

One thing I can say for a certainty is that people are REALLY going to miss Obama when he's gone, no matter who wins.

In both of these definitions they are listed as the adjective in the dictionary you linked to, but you used the noun to describe her. The adjective criminal and the noun criminal have entirely different connotations and meanings.

For example,
1. "That guy is a criminal" (noun)
2. "That guy is criminal" (adjective)

Completely different meanings between the statements despite using the same word. The first statement refers to the de facto legal status of someone, as it heavily implies conviction of some sort (your dictionary agrees). The second statement is merely a description of someone's behaviour and is of a more subjective nature. So no, Hillary Clinton is not a criminal, but her behaviour can be described as criminal if you wish. But if you want to call out on people being criminals, you better have something concrete to back it up, that's not opinion pieces.

Check the leaked emails for one. There is a lot of evidence against her, These "opinion pieces" aren't based on some wackos imagination. Pretty sure she would have been convicted of something by now if she wasn't such a powerful person.

Also can you stop making such a big deal with the criminal thing. I don't see whats wrong with calling someone who is a proven liar and an awful person a "criminal" as a way of describing them or to express what you think of them. It really feels like you are just looking for anything to use against me cause everyone hates me.

Not sure why you are using quotation marks, they are literally opinion pieces, not news articles. Whether they have some truth or not, they are still inherently biased and have an agenda, which is why they are posted in the "opinion" section on the news sites.

And no, there is no conspiracy here. It's been pretty public that there are ongoing investigations on Clinton, on the e-mail issues. I just don't think describing her as a criminal is fair, even though she is a dishonest liar (which most politicians are). If you don't want to be challened on calling her out as a criminal then you didn't have to make that statement.

She's possibly even more dishonest than other politicians she's running against, but I also don't understand why that would lead you to the conclusion that if you were going to vote for Bernie and he doesn't make it, then you should switch to Trump. There are other factors to consider as well!

There are other factors to consider as well!

I don't see what other factors there are. If Bernie doesn't make it then I would think that it would be Trunp against Hilary and Cruz, who are both much much worse than Trump. Making Trump the only decent candidate who has a chance of winning.

Not sure why you are using quotation marks[/quote]

Because I was quoting you, I thought that's what they are for. Also me calling her a criminal is my opinion and I think describing her as a criminal is fair. She takes the lies a step beyond the other politicians.

You are entitled to your opinions and if you worded it that way from the get go I wouldn't have responded. However, this discussion stems from some questionable claims you made before in the thread, where you referred to Clinton as a criminal as if it was general knowledge or concensus, which isn't true:

sheepy_dogs_handIf you are talking about the posts I just made here Hilary is known to have done some pretty awful criminal things that's not just my odd viewpoint, i'm pretty sure there is evidence out there and it's been covered many many times, it's pretty well known.

I might have used the word criminal wrong but I don't see what's wrong with this post. I don't even call her criminal here I only say she has done "criminal things". Anyone who has done any research into it knows that this is true so I don't see what's wrong me me saying it is well known. I get that you think I misused the word criminal which is fair enough but I dont even think it's a big deal considering people here make grammar mistakes here all the time.

The fact the IT guy that Hilary hired to run her email is getting immunity is actually a bad sign for her. That's only given if there were crimes committed as part of an information deal. Means she could actually get in trouble on this.

Also theres some bullshit right now in Ohio with the primaries. It used to be that 17 year-olds could vote in the primaries if they would be turning 18 for the General Election, but the Secretary of State changed that today. Now Bernie is like suing the state to get that approved.

So now that Bernie has won Michigan he’s won 5 states that usually vote for Democrats in the general election (over the past few decades). Hillary has won only ONE state that votes for Democrats (Mass.) and by a measly 1% of the vote. I swear to god if I hear another person who unquestionably believes what the media tells them and says “Hillary is inevitable, Bernie has no chance” I’m going to fucking flip. Bernie CLEARLY has much more support from Democrats overall than Hillary does. He’s going to fucking murder Hillary in California, New York and Pennsylvania - all blue states with a ton of delegates up for grab. If you seriously can’t see that the media is being intentionally misleading about Bernie’s chances at this point I don’t know what to tell you. Bernie isn’t good for the people that own the large news organizations and it’s sickeningly obvious that they’re intentionally downplaying his chances. With win after win in blue states Bernie has a really good chance of beating Hillary because of how he’s going to do in the large northern states and California. All Hillary has done is win some southern states that generally lean Republican and as more and more primaries are held in the larger blue states Bernie is going to catch up to her.
