Do you really think ESEA is that dumb that they'd lose all that potential money? Of course not, let's make a hype and make it seem like we're going to discontinue tf2 and double our numbers!!! muahahahahaha

Having more people play ESEA TF2 isn't exactly a bad thing though.

I totally agree, but what I'm saying is people act like it's the end of the world and that esea will so easily cut off tf2 because lack of registered people and not extend dates. It's not like that at all, they want the money from the tf2 community, that's why they will almost ALWAYS extend deadlines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvHYWD29ZNY

I hope you realize that these extensions have essentially nothing to do with tf2

I think it attracts people to the esea brand and is an overall good investment for what they are putting in

By looking at the number of paid csgo open teams, (yesterday there were ~285) you see that the number of teams paid is less than half that of the previous season. I would assume that is the reason it was extended.

afaik when there was lan torbull said esea lost money on tf2

im sure the figure pales in comparison to how much revenue they make off of csgo but were really just piggybacking of a system that would be fine without us

enjoy it while its still here
