Wondering if using custom textures like Flat World Textures http://tf2.gamebanana.com/textures/3942 can cause a VAC ban? Is it really safe to use it? failed to find an answer to this question when googling around, dont wanna risk anything.

Have anybody analyzed the .vpk of this mod to see that its 100% legit aswell?

It is legit, a lot of people use it, although most people just use clean tf2s FLAT vpk for flat textures found here: http://www.teamfortress.tv/21756/prism-hud-clean-tf2

No texture mods in TF2 will give you a vac ban
so unless their's some hidden files in that which I highly doubt their are any, you should be fine.
Most people use the flat textures from this instead though

No texture mods in TF2 will give you a vac ban

edit: yeah i'll use the flat texture from clean TF2 instead as it seems to be more legit and more used, then the gamebanana link one. Sad that I cant find any reply from a steam dev saying its legit, but I guess it is.

all of them are safe to use, they just might not work on some servers. You will not be auto-banned or vac-banned. Some work some don't depending on sv_pure
