I'll be home in the KW area during the very end of August. 99% would go if it falls during that time and if PCs are provided

I would certainly attend anything like this if it took place around mid-to-late August. After the Pan-Am games I feel should be a must, with the city and transportation currently being a disaster.

Obviously some kind of 6v6 tournament would be preferred. But I think for the most part, people just want to meet each other irl and play some kind of videogames.

The only other places that will have PC's provided are some sort of internet cafe in the city, the only one I've been to was on Korea town. There was someone who posted in the thread earlier who said he knew the guys who ran the place, we should probably talk with him.

I'll be at the location on the 25th for their league event, I might be able to talk to them then.

Maybe we should just crash a timmies and LAN off their shitty wifi

I have 2 people confirmed on steam, I spoke with deathy and he said maybe. If they want us to reach a certain number I can always pull some irl friends who have never played comp and they can learn or fuck off to a corner somewhere idk

I think I know the place you are talking about. I am very close to there, and if I could be put in touch with those people, I could get there easily. The big advantage to using a downtown venue is for anyone travelling to Toronto for the first time, they can actually see downtown and real Toronto. (And I don't have to wake up early!)

Yeah depending when it is I might go. I mean giving toronto poutine a taste is pretty tempting

I'd still say push for Hunter and Lucas now that we're getting more gamers. The Korea town internet cafe is really small and its normally busy with people already. I've never seen Hunter and Lucas but I'm pretty sure its larger anyways.

When I have time today I'll research other options in the area.
