I realize this is old news but I thought I'd like to bring it to more peoples attention. The fact that this is even acceptable when so many could stand to improve their lives so much for an amount nearly anyone could afford is disgusting.

Please don't come in posting about profit needing to be there or whatever; that's retarded. I lean towards the right for many political standpoints, but this sure as fuck isn't one of them.

this cure is not legit at all. a little research can help:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20537792

http://abcnews.go.com/m/story?id=2848454

you really think something so beneficial, the cure for cancer, would not be grabbed up immediately? there are countless non profit ngos as well as go's that can handle such debt for such a world altering find.

You're right, lets start a revolution.

This will not stand for any longer. For far too long, the government of drug companies and their grip on our medicinal sanctity has kept us oppressed, and in the dark. Together, we can take them by storm, ending their undeserved power!

12/2/12 never forget

It makes sense.

But on the other hand, if one pharmaceutical company finds the cure first, and can somehow get a monopoly on the cure, then that would make even more money. So there's still incentive, even if it is small.

Seems legit. Us Canadians and our free healthcare have found a cure for cancer.

Ranga is right. It does inhibit some forms of cancer but there is no way to get the concentration high enough in the cells to effectively do that. It's just some stupid gimmic that's been around for a while.

Talking about that mitochondrial modifier that kills cancer cells?
Yeah, naturally produced, un-patent-able. However, that hasn't stopped companies from making money off of things like that before. You can still patent the method you make it with, how you package it, how you deliver it. It's simply cheaper for big-pharma to make symptomatic cures for cancer and half-assed cocktails than to actually cure a probably reoccurring problem.
