DeathAdder left click button issue

So I have a deathadder black edition (3.5G) I bought like 2 and a half years ago, i really love the mouse and it always worked well, but the last few months I've started to have this issue with the left click button where sometimes it simply doesn't recognize a click, it's really noticeable when Im on mge because sometimes I aim to the air or something and click and nothing shoots which forces me to do a second split reaction click which even then sometimes its not recognized. Basically its a pain to play any kind of fps like this.

I found a very similar issue online (http://www.overclock.net/t/1215569/fix-deathadder-3-5g-failing-intermittent-left-click-button) , from another guy and he also said how he fixed it but I already tried that with no success

So I am wondering if anyone had this issue on a deathadder previously and if you were able to fix it or if its time to retire this mouse (maybe getting a deathadder chroma?)

try not to get a new mouse until you feel certain that you will not fix the problem :o

2clots of click issues related to DAs lately. ive seen like 10 people bitching about it in the past month

the thing is, it always worked amazingly well in the approx 2 years I used it intensively, survived 2 lans and everything, and suddently started having this issue. I am almost left wondering if this is a case of Planned obsolescence as the warranty in Europe is exactly for 2 years.

oh wow, lol, at least u can still hit shots when doubleclicking :D I am left aiming at the air like I have a jammed rocket launcher, its infuriating

i've purchased 4 deathadders and they have all had this issue. It's still my favorite mouse, but man it gets expensive to replace.

all razer mice have a 2 year warranty as long as you purchased it from their store / one of their recognized retailers. if you're still under warranty, you should try contacting support and see if they can send you a new mouse.

my 2013 DA's sensor started to become glitchy and they just had me provide proof of purchase, and a picture of the cord cut for them and they sent me a brand new chroma.

i was having similar issues with my deathadder before i switched over to the fk1, first noticed it in csgo when my gun would randomly stop shooting when left click was being held down.

pop the face plate off - i let my kiddo use my old one and he was banging on the lc so hard it actually wore away at the little plastic piece that pushes the actual button - I went to a hardware store and bought some hard plastic appoxy (make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that it won't be sticky). After applying the plastic, and shaping it a bit with a file the mouse went back to working fine :D

you have to open it by removing the plastic on top and put something that makes some thickness because you probably have broken through the mouse button.
I had the same problem on my DeathAdder and I did this way by putting super glue attack.
Hope to be helpful.

make a claim with razer about it, they have really good customer support and will often times replace your older product with the newer version

Check your warranty status just in case you fall in the 2 year range. I just sent an email to razer regarding my 2013 Deathadder purchased March 2014 because my left click button double clicks sometimes like someone that posted earlier.

I bought a 3.5G about more than 2 years ago, and it double clicks as well(that feel when it accidentally likes someone's old photo on instagram X_X). I'm hoping it survives for a few more years though, I've generally tried being careful without and not overclicking. Honestly there's so many problems with the DA3.5G that I hear that it questions their reliability and how it wasn't resolved in the 2013 version.
