Was looking through my old favorites and stumbled on this little piece of history. Really interesting/funny to see 6s humble beginnings, and all the failed rocket jumps give me a giggle. I'm sure this has been posted before, but I was wondering what your oldest comp TF2 video is? Lets look back in time.

Watching that stream live actually made me order The Orange Box for TF2 right away. Of course level of play was horrible, i33 was the first proper event with TLR and wotr.

EDIT: This was on November 12, 2007 for reference.

A quick Google search (edit: also zooob, woops) says this was in November 2007, so this is likely the oldest video you could find for 6v6. Really interesting to see how different everything was. One team running 2 demos, and an engie on each side, what a RUSH

Had to sign up to say this!

No idea about CG but CiMH do not still play and never did play lol. Basically we got to i32 (Me - Mikey, KnifeEdge and Triprotic) and did not know what to play, just a LAN right? Well somehow we got roped into playing with another 3 random peeps and somehow we got to the final, I still am not sure how rofl. CiMH was literally made up on the day to simply enter this tourney and stood for "Cum in my hair", yes that was the level of our maturity back then.

None of us had played TF2 before and myself, Knifeh and Trip had only had very limited success and skill playing TFC in the lower leagues (UKTFCL etc!). Basically we were shit, CG were not really shit and they had fun wiping the goddam floor with us. Was simply a laugh and its crazy I just found out it was one of the first if not the first competative TF2 game hahaha. Oh dear!

We were all wasted too rofl, well our part of CiMH anyway :D
