If you want a numpad and/or lights then go for tk, otherwise rapid.

is the extra 20 dollars worth the lights + numpad though?

If you want a num pad and lights more than you want $20 then go for it. Both good keyboards
I have a TK and like the numpad and lights a lot but its not for everyone

I've had a Quickfire TK with reds for the last almost year? I really really like it. The lighting is also a much deeper red than it shows up in the pictures.

The lighting is fantastic (the max brightness even took a bit for my eyes to adjust to), very visible and even on the A-Z keys. It's a tad bit uneven on Esc~F12 but it doesn't bother me at all. Also depending on if you have Num Lock on, the Arrow keys are either lit up or not. Not sure if you might feel it's worth it though since when I bought mine it was like $70 on Amazon.

Quickfire rapid is a tenkeyless keyboard meaning it has no numberpad
quickfire tk has the arrow keys/numpad integrated into one keyboard

Numpad is honestly so pointless, you have the numbers on top of the keyboard. Plus if you really need one just save up for one of those razer numpads or whatever they are.

You are asking a question that will ultimately come down to preference and need. IMO there's really not a reason to be asking this when you will determine what you end up getting.

If you use or prefer the number pad and back lighting, get the TK.

If you don't use or prefer the number pad and back lighting, get the Rapid.

MX Switches are also purely personal preference and all vary in feel and sound.
