I can pick up anyone at the airport friday, thursday, or earlier if need be. In general, I can drive around the philly area and suburbs as needed.

I just booked my flight. Coming in Friday morning, leaving Sunday afternoon. Being 6'6 I literally had to say that I had a "disability" so I could sit in bulk head to get the extra leg room.

In previous years we would get maybe ~30 players from the comp tf2 scene and sometimes there would still be a few seats left and tickets would be sold at the door. I don't know how many people the GXL is going to hold this time (350, maybe more?) but considering we already have around 100 pre paid players just a couple weeks after registration opened, and there's still 6 months to go... I would play it safe and get a ticket ASAP.

Nick said if it looks like there's a chance of it selling out he would let us know well before hand. So as long as you pay attention to this/the official announcement thread, you should be safe.
But they also do refunds up until 2 weeks before the event, so if you have the money now there is no harm in buying now.

Living about a half hour away I should probably go to this, I don't really know anyone in the community so this should be interesting. If anyone wants a ride from the NE/Bucks let me know.

1. Is there just one Tournament for Invite/Main players or are there other tournaments for lower level people? I'd love to play in something that mattered, but I'm a shitlord.
2. If there aren't, will there be Pugs i.e. if I'm not playing in the tournament should I bother lugging my gaming desktop clear across the state (I'm in NW PA).
3. Will monitors be provided?
