I miss CLASSIC ammomod (noid, luv u bbygurl). If you are working on a new MGE map how about regular ammomod in the old style arena (the current "directs" arena, but with splash damage obviously.

can you make a map* where there are two sides and on each side there is a flag and a flag cap and you just have to pick up the flag and move it over to the flag cap or kill the guy to get a point? like ctf except you don't have to go back to your base to cap (healthkits?) almost like the mge version of bball lol

sounds like it could be a lot of work for something people might not like, but I always didn't like in mge how when I am low on health I still have to challenge the other player directly instead of having some other option, like in a game you could just run away or some other thing. it would also get rid the problem of bad spawns. objective based mge ?

objective based mge. in a game the objective is to cap the enemy last. seeing as mge has gone from being a way to practice to a game mode about winning and having a bigger e-cock (a joke please don't take too seriously), I think its natural to make it an objective based gamemode.

Badlands mid is really gay, for the reasons that wonderland said (it promotes passive play). But, if you removed that map people would go nuts; and while it does promote really bitchmade strategies, it does have its merits.

Spire (the version that doesn't cause clipping) and gully are cool, the mge cage is good (it would be nice to replace the cage with some other texture).

Waste middle, gravelpit C, Granary last, and process middle are all really worthless (unless I'm missing something).

Viaduct could use a reskin.

BBall needs the intel height and the ceiling height fixed (also, for some reason you can't dunk in mge bball, in fact, capping in general is sometimes pretty wonky).

Snakewater mid is pretty lame, but I think some people like it.

Granary mid is soft as fuck, but it does have it's good points. It's basically badlands mid lite.

Maybe make a version of ammomod mge with less space to run around, but no walls? Kinda like that old ammomod skyscraper shit.

I'm kinda curious as to what special things you need to do in order to make a map ready for mge. If it's almost all controlled by the plugin, I could probably hop into hammer sometime and make a new mge map. I've always thought some of the arenas could use fine tuning, and I think it would be kinda nice to have multiple of the more popular arenas (endif, ammomod MGE, spire, etc.) If anybody can fill me in on this I would appreciate it.

Spawns are the main concern, I think. They need to be limited to each arena's area, and randomized in spawn order. Skyboxes around each arena to prevent stray rockets from flying into other areas are also needed.
