last season this team made us play 5v6, 9:30 on a friday during thanksgiving break after outright refusing to reschedule after numerous requests

they spammed binds the entire time about how we were getting owned with a man down, and were in general a bunch of dickshits

Most unpleasant team I've ever played against. Join this team if you don't want to improve or be respected in any way.

I usually try to avoid pushing negativity on looking threads, but as my good pals farns and kig already said, this team is the wrong kind of "laid back"; what they lack in maturity they more than make up for in obnoxious binds.

As far as actual player ability goes, I'm not sure how much potential they have considering we out fragged/damaged them and took a round in a 23 minute 5v6. Could they improve? Possibly, but given their attitudes I'm not quite sure who would be willing to put up with them long enough to do so.

When we scrimmed them on coalplant last season, they (mainly Waldo, but he's not on the team anymore) abused the glitch (going outside of the map boundaries) even though it was said to be illegal. Also spammed binds.

We had 6 players in the server in a match then I lagged out and they forced the match to start 6v5 and pushed our last, our med crashed in the middle of the game and they forced us to unpause when he couldn't reconnect in time. Our med also lagged out at the start of a mid which we said but they pushed with the uber adv they had ofc. Gl

I played medic with these guys for a few weeks before quitting

Key points of my short time on the team:
scrimming a lower level team and trolling them (binds/offclasses)
shit talking my friends
shit talking and trolling each other
shit talking anyone really
raging every_single_scrim
drunk saturdays
getting screamed at and called "med"
making me switch to demo after sleepinglife wanted to play med

3/10 might recommend if you hate yourself

Like synchro, I don't like to shit on people in looking threads. However, I've never met a bunch of people that are more of an outlier in this community. These people are so disrespectful, they should be shunned. In attempted to do what VG used to do by spamming funny binds and general dicking around, these guys miss the point completely: it was done for fun, not to be an utter asshole.

I couldn't recommend joining a team any less. I personally with all 6 of the players that were on this team last season would quickly fade into obscurity and no one every had to believe that they represented even a fraction of this community.

Scrimming against them was never a good experience. Take that as you will

Being on this team for a season has made me a genuinely worse person.

sleeping has low/mid open dm and is probably the most selfish person i have met in this game, will micro the entire team and never accept fault

qisnot has not broken 200 dpm in the time i have known him

david is really quiet and could maybe pull his weight in mid open

can't say much about SMB but he's enthusiastic and nice (new this season, won't last long)

pete is the nicest person i have met in this game, he has never intentionally done anything to annoy anyone ever that i know of.

overall, do not join if you value the ability to have a conversation with someone without insulting something/something, or the ability to be friends with people whom you played a match against.

The people at DA definitely have a ton of reason to be angry with my team, we were a dick to you guys. I understand any dislike on your guys part. It's unfair to attribute our actions to the rest of our team, fucking you over was solely an action of Waldo and I. Kig, farns, leaky, zephyr, Mumbo, final light, and magus sorry for being an ass to you guys.

Alosec, we had been having team issues for several weeks before you left. What confuses me about this is that we didn't part explosively. I don't recall ever having a personal fight with you. In regards to the shit talking, the banter in between everyone on our team is not intended to be taken seriously. We never attacked any of your friends, nor did we attack you. I did call you med while we were playing, just like I called Waldo demo or audie and Q scouts. I don't take calling someone as their class as offensive, but since it did offend you I apologize. We swapped places for a couple scrims after weeks of fighting. It wasn't intended to be a selfish “I want to play medic let's swap all of our classes around to suit my individual needs” It was an attempted solution for our team that wouldn't end in disbandment. It didn't work and you left anyway, but it was an attempt to salvage a difficult situation. I don't understand how you interpreted it differently because it was a decision we made together as a last ditch effort. It's true I like going out to drink with friends on the weekend, but we never practiced on Saturdays so I don't see how my free time affected you.

Huck, El Nino didn't die because of one person. It died for a ton of reasons, I did have a part in it. I didn't want to put effort into highlander, and I said that from the start before I was picked up. We disbanded because of the caustic attitude of several players during the lakeside match causing our med to leave, which we then decided to quit instead of go to the effort of finding a new one. A decision I had no part in.

Waldo, after pretty much every scrim after coalplant week we talked about team and player issues. In regards to micromanaging, that was how we played as a team, we had an extremely quiet flank so I had to call our plays to be able to keep a grasp on the game.

Sorry to the people over at DA. Tune Squad had a lot of issues last season, and made a lot of bad decisions. Which is why we're going for something different for the next season.
