A possibly stupid idea for a hud

I have no experience in making HUDs but I've had this idea where the scoreboard is very minimalist, for example showing the players on the top left of the screen, and maybe just kills and deaths on the very bottom left. Maybe you can then make a script to keep Tab always on, and so the scoreboard always there. I think maybe that will be very useful to easily and always see what opponents are dead or not and allow you to react to a situation quicker. Maybe this is a stupid idea, tell me

A good thought, but it has been brought up before and the thing stopping it from successfully being done is the fact that +showscores blocks certain player inputs.

Not possible, unfortunately. When the scoreboard is being drawn, health/ammo and other things aren't.

You can't see your health/ammo when the scoreboard is open so the always open thing doesn't really work.

If you want to try something, you could use hud_deathnotice_time 24 (default is 12, so anything over that would work too I guess) and put your killfeed closer to your screen so that way, you could monitor who recently died.
