Actually, I talked to fog and he said that you could, but it would probably be 2 crosshairs max. It requires a bit of extra code, so I'll try it out tomorrow for you.

You should be able to combine as many as them as you want. I managed to combine a few of them in my hud at the same time for a laugh.

So did you just copy the code in hudlayout a few times and change the labeltext?

I think scoreboard ping issues are dependent on your res, not os. I have checked on both my partitions and everything looks good on my scoreboards.

If anybody is having major problems with the scoreboard, I'll update the readme with instructions on how to fix that yourself because this is dependent on your own resolution.

Need to change the title of the control too.

e.g first crosshair is xhairspread

second crosshair is xhairspread2 (If not changed, the crosshair will override the previous)

Hey!
Just started using your Hud, it's pretty much ideal, but few tweaks here and there could be made in my opinion. Also these suggestions will be only from MvM.Lately I've been into MvM alot and kind of forgot about pubs etc.
Let's start out with Refund Credit message at the end of the round.I think you should move it a bit lower, possibly below the Bonus credits.

http://i.imgur.com/JlkFhrz.jpg

Second thing is while pressing TAB to open the scoreboard, robots which are left to defeat is really off to the right. You can't even see half of them.

http://i.imgur.com/X833TV4.jpg

And to sum up, whilst being in lobby, chat size is really small. It's really hard to read the messages.Increase of letter size would be great.

http://i.imgur.com/uNCxPqQ.jpg

On a side note, would it be possible to move Current cash and the cash that's on the ground to the left?Ideally below health number.Maybe make it a selectable option in the GUI, because there might be people that like the current cash position and such.
Also, I'm using Windows and 3:4 resolution.
And the final suggestion would be a damage indicator around the crosshair. It could be a small and thin circle that would flash as soon as you deal damage.I'm sure that you know what I mean.

Edit: Forgot to mention. While you're killing the Giant robots, health above their head is in dark gray colour. Most of the time it's hard to see in the dark area, could you possibly change it to white or any other bright colour?

Thank you for a great HUD by the way!

Thanks a lot for the feedback Dre!

MVM is something I haven't really cared about until the new MVM update because I never play it. I really appreciate all the reports. I can already tell you that the damage flash around the crosshair is already possible and integrated into my HUD. I assume you're talking about fog's crosshairs BTW, as that's the one that has this integration.

I guess I forgot to add the instructions in the readme however, so I'll update it with instructions when I finish here.

Navigate to your scripts folder and open up HudAnimations_tf.txt. The first entry should be DamagedPlayer. There are instructions underneath there.

Thanks again for your bug findings :D

No problem, I'm here to help you tweak your Hud, not brag about how your Hud sucks or anything.
Got few more things to share.
When you reach 100k+ damage, it doesn't go over 100k.It just counts the damage, but without the hundred thousand in the beggining. So let's say I have 150k dmg, it will show 50k.

http://puu.sh/63EJE.jpg

Another one is killstreaks. If you have a killstreak kit attached to a wrench and when you pull out your primary gun, killstreak counter will blend into primary weapon's ammo.

http://puu.sh/63ESb.jpg

Also, I belive it's because of my 4:3 resoluion, but could it be possible to move info about engi's building just a tiny bit to the right?Becuase half of the health is cut off. It's a minor thing, but still.

http://puu.sh/63EYf.jpg

Hope I've helped you a bit with these ones aswell.
Looking forward to new updates! ^^

Edit: Don't mind the damage one.I think something was wrong with the server or hud glitched.

Guys, I need your help in deciding something real quick:

I've been dissatisfied with my Market Deco font I've been using as the main for some time. I think it looks really good in some situations, but not when it must be big. For this reason, I've gotten a new main font called Neutra (I hope no one else is using this). I like the font, but my main concern is that it's too bold. Here is the loadout panel with the new font:

http://i.imgur.com/mPyzHpH.png

There are 3 versions of this font, the one for the "Loadout", "Stats" and "Demoman" labels is the biggest, boldest, all-caps version. The label of the actual items are another version that is also big and bold but has subtle lowercases. And the thinnest (though still fairly thick), is seen in the passive attributes section below the character. It's quite a bit thinner than the others and has lowercases.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions, please let me know!

Another quick update:

I remembered I can simulate resolutions via the launch options in Steam, so I've managed to fix some of your problems Dre. I'm gonna be making a sweep the next few days trying to find some problems areas for 4:3 users and add a 4:3 version of the HUD when I'm done. I may even be able to just add it as an option in 4Plug to make it 4:3, makes it quite simple.

Great to hear! The only thing that bothers me the most at the moment, is Lobby chat. It's literally unreadable lol.Hope it get's fixed in the upcoming patch.
Also, the idea about different resolutions in the 4Plug is also a great thing. You could add more and more features to it, and make people decide, which one they prefer.

Now for some more MvM related stuff.
When you bought Rage upgrade for heavy, rage box it self is default one.I believe you just forgot to change it :p

The same goes for mini sentry upgrade as an engi.

EDIT: Dre can you actually turn all your MVM fixes into a nice GitHub issue so I can review it easier?

Well, I wasn't sure if you intended to leave it default-ish or you just forgot to change the look of it.And yes, I'll try to put up all my bugs into one reports on github.

I hate leaving things undone but I ran into a problem that can't be fixed in my quest to optimize MvM. The problem with ping requires that I widen the player list by over 100 pixels to be able to see the ping. This causes the ping to clip badly with the credit panel (it goes halfway through that panel), so no small shift of any element would do the trick. What's more is that it's not fixable. In the regular scoreboard you can adjust the individual widths of the player names, scores, pings, classes etc instead of widening/thinning the whole list. It's not so in MvM: you either widen or thin the whole thing. Plus if I widen it the 105 pixels needed to see the ping, that takes up over 2/3 of my 1080 pixel width on my desktop. This probably already takes out of play anybody on a laptop as it will simply not fit.

Sorry for the long explanation, but like I said hate leaving things undone. But for the reasons above I have to leave the player list how it is. I highly recommend checking the readme where I explain how to set up a nice, minimal net graph so you can see your own ping, FPS, and other network info.

Sorry for the inconvenience, however this update is still going to be pretty awesome ;)

v4!

- Total MvM revamp!
- Inspect panels (spec + in-game) moved right
- Added new font for many menus
- Added option to press “e” to get past MOTD and map info dialog
- Minor color alterations
- Fixed low ammo BG not going away and positioning
- Bunch of random placement fixes
- Revamped scoreboard and background options!
- More 3D model positions!

4:3 resolution fixes, tournament mode enhancements on the way in the next update. Oh, and if I haven't gone over it too much already, you really need 4Plug to use the extra options like changing the HUD's positioning, changing the position of the 3D model, scoreboard backgrounds etc.

In your screenshots your healing beam looks really cool. How can I make mine look like that? Will it
work in sv_pure 2? Does it stop the kritz from having the yellow particles in the beam?
Love the hud, looks absolutely fantastic.

That's from my basic shape healsign pack I made quite some time ago. It does not affect the crit particles.

Server time limit clipping out @ 16:10 or 4:3 resolutions.

Also stuff clipping out.

The ping is addressed in the readme and I'll have to fix the clipping. Could you post this on GitHub? Thanks for the report.
