"Head" and "Misc" slots for player loadouts have been converted to Cosmetic slots. All items that were previously Head- or Misc-slot-specific can now be equipped in any Cosmetic slot.

Now you can wear 3 non hat items if ya willing to look like a goofball hatless noobie.

The weapon changes are nice, but it's unlikely any of them are going to make some sort of significant impact in the 6s gamemode, and that's what I really care about.

the short circuit is so fun. it's like.. the lightning gun from quake, except it's not long range. you can literally 1 v 1 demos and roaming soldiers without them touching you.

No, I believe it's referring to an exploit not too long ago where you could actually store a taunt kill (any weapon that killed you with the animation taunt) and store it if you did it while tauntsliding but hit the Hi-Five taunt button. So people would slide around hi fiving and when they ended it it would insta-kill an enemy.

Just because something in is an upgrade doesn't mean it should be banned. Like the potential for spy in 6s is like once a match to do anything relevant. With this it might make them more viable for players who want to run full or semi full time

You can already do that with the ambassador, though. All this buff does is remove the requirement to headshot people for crits which is a pretty dumb change in my opinion.
