Tip of the Hats 2 is in the planning stages. To see our current status, take a look at the main ToTH 2 thread.
We want ToTH2 to be bigger and better than the first event in every way. A crucial part of that is having a single coherent page we can show people to introduce them to ToTH, and let them know why they should be excited about it and maybe consider donating.
This is where you come in. Tip of the Hats needs an experienced web dev/designer to make a clean and effective landing page for us. This page will be the hub for all ToTH operations and promotions. The things that this page needs are:
- Info section (Who/what we are, who/what this fundraiser supports.)
- Current news and updates
- Current planned schedule for the event
- Embedded twitch player (hidden for now, will make visible when the event draws near)
- Links to social media (twitter, youtube, steam community)
As you can see, our needs are not particularly exotic. We just need something that we can show to potential sponsors, participants, and donors to get them up to speed quickly.
If you are willing to donate your time to work on making a site for us, post some samples of your work in this thread or send me an email with a link to your portfolio (vancamp.alex@gmail.com).

Are you looking for a web developer or a web designer?
Basically, I could pretty much set up an app that could run the website and it's components, and the contents of the pages, but I have no skill in the matter of designing pages, etc.
I potentially could do the job you need, but I'll need somebody to draw things a pretty way.

A designer is what we need most right now. Someone to make the layout of the page. When it comes to implementation, we have some people who can do that. When it comes to hosting, we are already covered.

This is a great idea, it will extend the reach of tip of the hats further into the pub community and the masses instead of primarily the comp community.
