Was somewhat stalking a friends profile today for no apparent reason when I realized that he has ~160 hours in the past 2 weeks. This amazed me because I don't think I have ever gone over 80ish hours in 2 weeks. I was kinda curious to know how much people play this game. As in does it take up all of your free time, or is it something that you do when you're bored?

that is not an excuse i have 3200 hours on record since july 27th 2009 and id guess atleast a thousand of those hours i got from idle tf2 (idle servers or i left the game open).
my good friend mustardoverlord has 14k hours on record and i seriously doubt he has played for longer than 5 min in his whole life.
i have played 19 hours in the past 2 weeks according to steam.
