yo so lately in tf2 like ill be playin n out of nowhere my gun just wont shoot, as if i was holdin down m2 all the time, cause my melee works just not my guns or w/e also as sniper it continuously zooms in and out once again as if i was holdin m2 down. and when its not doin that it will unscope right as i shoot someone, really annoying, making it so i cant play the game anymore
thoughts or suggestions? think its my mouse or something with my game? idk anything helps at this point b/c my mouse itself works in everything but tf2 and the right clicking only seems to happen in tf2 itself, i have already validated, gotten a new cfg, and reinstalled which none of those helped.i really dont want to drop money on a mouse just to play a videogame when this mouse works fine
any help is appreciated

If you have a Razer Abyssus, your m2 is probably dying. Come to think, yeah, if you have any Razer mouse, your m2 is probably dying.

TL;DR

In game, my sniper will at random keep scoping in and out.

Things like this happened to me when I had done conflicting configs. Try cleaning them out. Otherwise, try a different mouse and if that works, RMA the original if you can.

Edit: woops, didn't see what you'd said about the config. Make sure you've checked both/all locations though

renxzenIt could help if you tell us what mouse do you have.

i have some mouse that came w my pc uhh when i look it up says its a hp wired optical mouse
so no razer mouse for anyone who suggested, but the weird thing is, my m2 is 100% fine outside of tf2 i can use m2 right now on my desktop or in a game like cs go or quake where none of those things seem to be a problem, i have no clue what the issue could be, as i have already gotten a new cfg which most people suggest is the problem

I don't think anyone is trying to be facetious or a grammar nazi but it literally makes this post annoying and hard to real when entire sentences are put into acronyms.

xbRoot_maybe if you improved your grammar and spelling, your mouse would fix itself!if only i was a super nerd who actually paid attention to that stuff

If only you had the common courtesy/sense to be clear and coherent when trying to get people to help you out with your problems, then maybe those people would be able to help you more quickly.

Relevant to your issue: Do what kwahlster suggested and type "-attack2" in console. Sometimes TF2 bugs out and registers a continuous keypress. For example, if you find yourself moving forward without pressing W, then you'd have to type in "-forward" to fix it. This happens with me and "+attack" all the time.

already did the -attack2 and it stopped it as soon as i did it, but instantly started doing it again, epsecially on sniper. and i have no idea how someone telling me to fix my grammar is in anyway helping me with an issue with my mouse, this is also retarded on how it sorta turned into a side argument over grammar over this topic so this is my last post regarding super virgin grammar caring

Can you try removing all your config files to a backup folder, including the ones in tf/cfg and tf/custom/###/cfg. Then verify game cache (not sure if this is actually required). Check if that fixes the issue.
