#3838 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Danke Setsul.

I meant to write Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 for RAM.

Now I feel confident enough to start ordering the part :)

#3836 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Hello everybody!
The motherboard from my old PC died so I thought that I now might be a good time to do some upgrading. I’m looking for a PC that will be able to run TF2 at a minimum of 144 fps with a 1920x1080 resolution while at the same being able to do some other stuff (browsing, videocalls and so on) on my other 1080p monitor. In the future when the GPU prices drop, I plan to also would also like to be able to run other games (don’t know which ones though) at a high framerate after buying a new GPU. But, for the time being I plan to keep my old Gigabyte GeForce GTX 680 4 GB video card.
From what I’ve read it seems reasonable to also keep my 850 W power supply from around 2013.

The new parts I’m considering are:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16
MOBO: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk ATX AM4
SSD: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME

What are your thoughts on a build like this? Any tips on how to improve it? Would spending a bit more on a CPU have a substantial difference on tf2 performance? I’m not very interested in overclocking or other stuff like that because I doubt that I have the skills or balls necessary to do so.

#1 Binding of Isaac in Other Games

So I got the latest Humble Bundle but I already have The Binding of Isaac. Which by the way is one of my favourite games of all time. So if you want to play it click this link: https://www.humblebundle.com/gift?key=Rz8pqkcwS5sfA8nN to redeem it. Please don't take it just because it's free and I would appreciate if you wrote a comment if you redeemed it so people will know if it's taken already.

I don't see the point unless you are typing really long mail or something like that. (Also ctrl + [any number 1 -9] get you to the tab you desire.)
