you probably have some conflicting application. I had the exact same issue and for me it was RTSS messing with it

for some reason it only affects games that are on the source engine like cs:go cs:source and tf2, idk why

if u turn this option on in RTSS game capture should work as normal

OBS is a very raw, program. trust me. Its gunna take time to learn. Its a great program, but sometimes the interface and the shit you gotta deal with makes you so fucking angry.

That's so true, and the -allow_third_party_software can make you get vac banned in cs:go
