i didnt know were to put this so its going here i guess, i found out through a series of tests that i cannot stream. My connection is just too poor. however,i would still love to help the community in any way i can so it can grow. I used to write for commft before it went under for a brief time and i would love to write for this site as well. If anyone knows enigma and wants to link him this post that would be great!!

If someone could direct Enigma's attention to this, I'd like to write as well.

Here's what I recently wrote: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/894-the-s12-lan-race

(I can't add him on Steam as his friend's list is full.)

Not sure what enigma would think of this. But in the case he reads this. Here is an idea for people to submit featured community contributions (anything from writing to tutorial videos) for the Featured Articles section.

My idea:

You guys should add a feature for "community contribution". Where a person can write anything from a paragraph to an essay directly sent to enigma (email?) where he can approve a person's writing before it is published. Make note that the feature allows that the sender's work is not published but instead sent to enigma's email, with a confirmation email/popup/webpage notification the information was successfully sent to the appropriate moderators of the website.

This could be done by having a button on the webpage that sends them to a form to edit. Once done, the submit button then sends user-submitted info to enigma and/or his admins for the website. Please note, the information sent is not published but a confirmation email (or notification page of sent successful) is sent to the sender allowing them to know it was sent to the appropriate person(s) email/message box.

---End idea---

I personally think this feature could grow content for the community. As well as allow enigma/admins to regulate what is allowed to be placed in the featured articles section. However, I guess the easy way of doing this would just to be friends with engima. But I feel not all content has to come from buddies of enigma (which is a limited circle of people).

Thoughts?

Ps. The same idea could be applied to adding streams? Ask questions about how regular the streamer would be streaming. What content he/she would provide. Etc.

Yeah, having some submissions via e-mail would be a good idea.

we're trying to kick up our level of written content. Fire me an e-mail eXtine@eXtelevision.com if you wanna write for eXtv.

Thanks to enigma's spiffy programing, any article on eXtelevision is featured on the Tf.tv sidebar! bonus!

Course, a community submission button on here would still be amazing.

cheers.
