Hello! The NA TFTV team is looking for some feedback on our casts from the RGL S3 season. Throughout the season we covered 23 matches, including every divisions' grand finals match besides invite.

The RGL Season 3 Playlist

Our team this season included:

Casters- FrickMyNick, louster200, Unicorn Wizard, Console-, ire, Graham, eXtine, Marxist, row, just jazz, THE BILLDOZER, Fleskore, DoomIcorn, Kami, Goose, Jakey, virgil, trad, Connie Kins, Tery, twigs, jemond, TonyB, xattuu

Producers- Shears, louster200, antlers, mitch

(underlined names mean they were brand new to our casting/production roster this season)

It's been a very fun and busy season for us on the casting team. LOTS of new faces coming in courtesy of antlers and his team over at Fireside Casts (go give em a follow, they've been doing a lot of lower division coverage). We've officially brought back Fully Charged on the NA side, as mentioned before we have covered EVERY grand finals (except invite since RGL locks out that STV), and are looking to cover another mid-season tournament with the CappingTV Ultiduo tourney. The same team has also branched out and covered RGL Highlander on CappingTV and EssentialsTF, to name a few.

So, now we're looking for feedback primarily from our traditional sixes' casts this past season.
What did you think to our coverage this season?
What do you think was good?
What do you think was bad?
Why do you thinks those things?
What would you like to see in future?

See you in S4!

It felt very smooth this season. I really wish teams started on times so then the games were more close to their scheduled matches, but I understand how unrealistic that has been.

Everything this season felt like an improvement over the last, and seeing new casters that brought action with them was very pleasing to see. I wish to see all of these casters next season for even cooler action!

I haven't really looked at posts to keep up with what games you're casting, but it always felt like they were being casted out-of-the-blue. I never understood when the games were being casted or what, but I could just be missing the posts.

Other than that, I hope to see the continued action that I loved last season this upcoming season!

We do try to get event posts up asap but hopefully with some better org communication this season we should be able to post early a lot more consistently

I was a big fan of the amount of games casted this season and I think all of the new casters did a great job! watching all the playoff matches really rekindled my love for the game/my drive to improve. the one thing I can think of is that occasionally the camera wouldn't be on what the casters were talking about so the stream would miss some important moments. you guys did fantastic and i'm excited for the casts this season :)

There were an impressive number of talented casters on your roster last season, and I was especially happy with all the Invite players who participated. Marmaloo and Sandblast in particular were perfect together, and you've gotta hand it to b4nny for his cast with extine. His knowledge and love of the game were just irrepressible. I'd love to see more of that.

Hey, while I’m sure those guys appreciate the kind words we’re looking for feedback on casts done on TFTV. They are all primarily involved with RGL’s productions.

i think casters should be more experienced, as its annoying when the caster doesn't even know what's going on and is constantly giving incorrect calls; maybe main-level players at least

i love how the hud looks, dont change it at all, i love the tags and the names (without aliases so its not confusing) so thats something im a huge fan of

I'd state that there's a shortage of casters. Going into the fall season is going to lose some good casters due to school or whatnot. I agree having more experienced casters is beneficial, but there's no real good way of obtaining them. Many people have a life and don't want to spend hours casting, some may not enjoy talking about tf2 either.
