Pugging six joins the mix

A unlikely team of pug bandits, 6ix, have come out of nowhere to take a map off Season 34 Premiership champions Ascent.EU, making their mark on the upper echelons of the Premiership division.

The team features top talent from two continents. On Demoman is Premiership veteran Smirre, whose chest is adorned with bountiful second and third place medals. Meanwhile, hailing from the States is jayhyunpae, last seen in Europe taking second-place at i65 with the American iteration of Ascent. Since then, the flicking beast took a liking to the scout class, even managing to take a map off froyotech.

These players augment the talents of their lesser experienced comrades: Medic Ace, Scout Swi, and Pocket ever_x. Leading the team is the newcomer and roaming soldier Nubbi, who won Division 1 last season with the now defunct Crunge eSports.

The team's PR officer Ace provided the game of 6ix:

Mainly the team is made of a bunch of pug mains. Me, ever_x, nubbi, and swi are the main core of the team. We needed a demo and a scout, and we started trialing some people. Smirre didn't have a team, and he agreed to play with us. Jay is very very good and he can easily play top Premiership even with 130 ping. Since the team is made of pug players, we got to know each other quite well.

Me and Swi played together for 2 seasons already before this one in div1, and we won div1 twice together (s28 and 33). The atmosphere after we won snake was very good, because we took a map against the EU champions. So yeah, feelsgoodman. We aim to reach playoffs, and I think we are happy with top 4 in Premiership and above.

There are some very good teams in this season, mainly Ascent.EU, egg, and Ora. Those are the big names and the best teams imo. But also the germans and the frenchies are very good opponents. All those teams have good chemistry and amazing players. Even the "new" team in Prem, synonim of perfection, has good players, so we cannot sleep on any of those teams. So yeah, good competition. We hope to get into playoffs and we are gonna do our best.

With the credo of “we lose we fold,” the six of 6ix are:

  • Scout: jayhyunpae
  • Scout: Swi
  • Roamer: Nubbi
  • Pocket: ever_x
  • Demoman: Smirre
  • Medic: Ace

i'm curious to see what you think; how does experience as an indicator of ability compare in this game to the other competitions I understand, top level CSGO and the NBA?

Lesser experienced comrades?
Swi is playing since season 10, which is before Smirre's first official played in ETF2L.
All comrades are very experienced. I feel like the article is underestimating old wolves :D.
