So i got this issue where whenever i press the voice button "v" the bubble pops up for me but it takes like 2 seconds for my words to start registering so from the prospective of someone else on the server its like I only then pressed the button, any suggestions? everything works fine in csgo btw its just tf2. I've tried multiple mics. I am using mastercoms config.

It’s like this for anything wireless, nothing will be instant, kinda just have to deal with it.
Don’t know if I’m wrong but someone will probably say something that makes more sense

That's not the issue that I was talking about. The first two seconds of me speaking seem like they didn't even happen but after that its totally perfect, this only happened for me, my friends can use voice chat pretty fine. Maybe I didn't explain it well enough, to give you an example if I hold "v" and say for example "thanks" and then release, for anyone else on the server its like nothing happened, I only noticed that the chat worked at all was when I said a long phrase and my friend told me he heard the last part

Maybe your microphone has some kind of noise gate on it, and it's not transmitting the first part of your speech because it deems it to be too quiet?

Could that really be the problem when 1.The mic works fine in csgo and discord and everywhere else, 2.I've tried multiple mics

I think it's just a quirk with TF2 and how it uses custom designs and ui's for things like the voice chat.

Does your friend also have mastercoms config by chance?
