VOD publishing for Euro games

We recently changed our publishing schedule for Euro VODs (or at least made a schedule at all). From now on, we will publish usually one Euro VOD per day (two if they're related e.g. two quarter finals VODs from the Challengers Cup would go up on the same day). Because this might mean a delay before the VOD is publicly available on youtube, we will make any unpublished VODs unlisted and embed them on the teamfortress.tv event page so you can still watch them there if you're really keen. These will go up pretty much as soon as they're done processing.

If you have any suggestions please let us know.

Edit: I should mention that this won't really affect NA VODs as implied by me saying Euro everywhere. Those guys will continue to publish as soon as they can.

Not that it bothers me or anything, but may I ask the reasoning behind this?

Yep, we noticed drops in subscribers on days when we uploaded lots of VODs at once.

i think there were problems with sub boxes when delaying publishing of videos, but tbh the last time i heard about it was ages ago so I'm not sure if they fixed it

There might be some truth to that, I published a relatively old week 1 VOD yesterday and it wasn't at the top of my sub box but I dunno. In future they probably won't be older than a day or so, we just have a backlog because of all this CC content we're bringing you :D
