I personally use the mionix castor, and love it for a good, basic RGB 5 button mouse with dpi switch. I think most of benq's Zowie lineup and steelseries lineups are pretty well accepted by the tf2 community so you may look into that too. Honestly, mice are all about preference, and a lot of players use mice that the community may be up in arms about. I think once upon a time there was this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OCE_8ExgcTwU8as3v9ajKCgtcf3vg3nm1Wok9kmTHaw/edit#gid=0

If you use claw grip like myself then I highly recomend you to get the logitech g303 or g302 (it's cheaper and frankly still a really good mouse). It has got one of the best mouse sensors on the market, the clicks are really nice, really good mousewheel and the 2 buttons on the side are placed the just fine imo. Most people dont like this mouse because of it's shape but if you are a claw gripper like myself then you won't mind the shape a bit and it's also small so it's perfect for small hands (like my myself).

EDIT: Crap didn't see he already bought a mouse D:

i use the rival 100 and my hands are basically tiny, i palm-grip it and it's perfect and i guess claw grip would also work pretty well. some people say that the sensor is bad or whatever but i don't have a problem with it. the led turns off randomly when i lock my computer but that's not a big deal since i don't like lights anyways. the rival 300 is apparently a big larger but i don't think that would ever be a problem since the rival 100 is still on the smaller side for my tiny hands.

i've been wanting to get a zowie for some time tho but i can't one to try irl, but everyone says they're super good so try one? also what's the difference between the ec / fk?

Logitech Gs are a very safe bet; personally, I wanted to transition over to a palm grip so I bought myself an MX518.

lol so many people here suggested the ec2-a because it is an overall better mouse than DA with same look but you ignored all the suggestions. What was the point in making this thread anyway? Whatever your loss bud.

deathadder has a funny scrollwheel. mine has worked for 2.5 years but the scrollwheel clicks as well as scrolls for the past month has a 50% accuracy.

Why did you go back to an MX518? I used to use that mouse and enjoyed it, but it has its own problems (mainly angle snapping built in). It was fixed with the G400 and surely the ones since then.

I'm not quite sure why a lot of people are saying the deathadder is a crappy and unreliable mouse. The mouse feet are pretty shitty, because they're not as slick as other mouse feet and they wear out a bit faster. However, they're fine and you get used to it as you continue wearing into it, actually. If you want different mouse feet, you can always buy some as well. My deathadder lasted me lasted me a couple years before it had a double click issue. Some people, however, have issues earlier or not even at all.

The ec2-a is not an "overall better mouse." It's literally a preference with the exception of the sensor. What matters the absolute most on a mouse is the feel. I like both mice, but neither is objectively "better overall." The two mice are simply shaped differently with pros and cons for each.
