it doesn't matter which gives the best fps. when they're all within 5% what matters more is what gives the most consistent frame times (the "smoothest") and that answer is without a doubt 98.

i think explaining what the hell this random .exe is would really go a long way towards gaining credibility.
It seems to be a way to download your recent sizzler STVs?
FMX1yttriumWhat if the CTF worked more like Doomsday? Have a neutral intel in the middle that both teams have to fight for (which doesn't unlock for a certain amount of time), but have the cap be on the enemy's side so they have to push in. It would work sort of like 5CP (although one person would need to cap), but if the intel is dropped for too long the entire round resets (which helps prevents stalemates). That sounds a lot like Pass Time, could that work as a comp gamemode?
Pass Time could be interesting. Not with any of the current maps though.
I always liked Mannpower's cap method and grappling hooks, but the power ups were incredibly dumb ideas.
DamnEasyCTF would be horrible, if you cap 1 or 2 flags you just get 5 man defending your flag, and if they try to push you with 6 you just have 1 scout or spy or w/e backcap the flag.
With traditional maps, yes. That's why CTF would need a bit of a rework - greatly reduced flag despawn timers, different map positions for flags, and switching to a "most caps in X time" rather than "first to 3".

I'd like to at least see it attempted. Also the player outlines would have to be disabled.
Oh sorry. Disguise Kit should be hidden and I probably just messed up the filenames in the program. I'll eventually get around to fixing it, I'm away for a bit (again).
EXC0Listen I installed this a while ago and just kept it, and now the uninstaller isnt getting rid of it. "Looking for previous install... None found. No need for uninstall."
I even tried reinstalling and reuninstalling but I am getting this error when trying to reinstall:

I honestly just want to get rid of it now : (
solved this over steam
for those having any issues:
- open regedit and delete the key at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CompVMInstaller\TF2Path
- go to Team Fortress 2\tf\custom and delete compviewmodels.vpk
- make sure your Team Fortress 2, tf, and custom folders are all not set to read-only
- relaunch the installer and try again
FreudAfter some further playing around, I found that neither 1.0 nor 1.2 hide the spies PDA, even when set to do so. Both versions will hide the engineers build and destroy PDAs.
I also feel I should clarify that I never tried the 1.1 installer, so it could have the same issues as 1.2 for all I know. I never had any issues with the 1.0 installer.
No versions hide the PDA, the functionality just isn't there yet. Spy animations are handled a bit differently than every other animation so that the spy can have both a PDA and weapon out at the same time - I'm not sure I'll ever be able to figure out how this works, but maybe I will. For now you can't disable the PDAs though.
mid looks a bit like foundry except maybe less cancerous
SetsulThere is no preference here. AMD hasn't released a new high end CPU in 4 years. And even back then the single threaded performance was terrible.
yo setsul did that Zen leak make you tingle inside like it did for me?
watch dogs was bad, and I mean really bad, but it wasn't this bad. Sure it looked bad and was a little boring but at least they didn't actively advertise features that just didn't exist a week before launch (I'm aware the E3 demo from years prior was a little misleading featurewise). and even though it performed badly, it still performed way better than NMS... at least turning down the settings raised your FPS lol
who's still in charge?
oh, right

Battleborn.
Battleborn was hyped and didn't get popular but it wasn't inherently bad...
obe_This game's PC release was a fucking disaster and it's gratuitously overpriced but it made some good bank given its tiny dev team
The PC release wasn't the only disaster. The entire game across all platforms performs and looks like crap, and is full of empty promises.
Without knowing anything about this game prior to its launch, it if launched on Early Access on PC only, it would just be the survival game of the month, that's all. This is literally abandoned EA garbage sold as a full title.
NightGoatSpore.
sue me but i actually enjoyed spore.
it probably helps that it ran fairly well, had a solid art style, and didn't promise an infinite universe. NMS runs like shit, looks like shit (all the promo art is great but every single ingame screenshot is trash), and promised the fucking world and beyond.
yttriumThere's so much hype about this game with so little substance to back it up that I think it'd be wise to wait and see how it pans out.
oh hey look what happened
