Frankly if you aren't after gaming performance and just want a machine that will last, honestly I would just find a high spec used T430 or something.
If you're into hardware modding there's a lot that can be done with them. You can replace the keyboard with an older non-chiclet one, and upgrade the screen to a full 1080p IPS one, on top of having both an extended 9 cell battery and a slice battery for DAT BATTERY LIFE.
Can't contribute much but frankly, you usually (depending on the situation) shouldn't worry about buffing someone if another player is really low. Get them up a little before giving the buff. Exceptions to this would maybe be buffing the flank so they can make a distraction while the rest of you retreat.
Heal priority is not static. It changes based on what the current situation is and who's currently actually doing shit. If someone has to stop participating at all because they're so low and their class can't do much while low (scouts) then you'll probably want to get them up a bit. Not always to full, depending on the rest of your team, but getting them to about 80 health is nice.
Orang3Just curious what are the downvotes for? Someone said that soldier with shotgun beats scout and I was agreeing and stating why, did I say something wrong?
I mean if neither player misses a single shot and always does perfect damage, the soldier should always win (if neither player is hurt before the fight) because shotguns and scatterguns are practically identical and soldiers have 75 more health
In reality though a soldier is less mobile, so even though he has the same damage output and more health, he's still probably more likely to lose since he has less mobility (and inversely, the scout has more mobility, so he can dodge)
This doesn't factor in player skill though, or really any game variables. Pre-fight health, positioning (does one player get the jump on another?), etc can all vastly change the outcome. A shotgun soldier will always do better against a scout than a gunboats one though.
I have never seen more autism concentrated into a single steam group in my life
Fair enough. I don't even have the money to dump on it anyways but I hope that when the time comes that I do, it'll still be around.
DarkNecridyttriumholy shit they made a new one?
savage 2 was literally the best game I have ever played, it's such a shame it died, but now I'm fucking hyped. Hopefully this is actually good.
it's a near exact replica of savage 1 which was better than savage 2 in almost every single way
I was never really able to get into savage 1 so unfortunately I can't speak on that front, but I'll take your word for it - and that only makes me more excited
PhunkMost of the new options there are things that have existed on all sorts of custom/modified ROMs for ages
While true it's still good that it's getting rolled into stock Android.

uberchain carries the team yet again
for both options you need to preload.
as long as you have vt-d and manage to get gpu passthrough working then a VM isn't horrible
are you guys trying to tell me you wouldn't date Lange
