That's a really weird issue - does Lawena install a custom viewmodel replacer (like mine)? While it's in use, what VPKs does it drop into your custom folder?

On that note remove grenade launcher spin/drag/whatever it is that makes it feel so much more..inconsistent? than the iron bomber.
grenade launchers have spread as well, on top of random pill rotation velocity (which affects roller direction)
I've noticed some serious wonkiness with binds and the new update. For instance, there's a new say_party function, but it's bound to F2. No matter what, when you restart TF2, it will re-bind F2 to say_party, but there isn't even an entry for it in the options menu. I assume it's doing similar things for other functions.
You might also want to try running with the -nosteamcontroller launch argument, which also fixes some weird bind issues.
edit: they fucked it up so bad that the "yes" vote for the votemenu, which is bound to F2, doesn't work unless you unbind F2

Here's a set of diffs for Jungle Inferno, for people who actually want to update their HUD properly (without deleting main menu).
I've also made merged a pull request on the main repo. (I don't remember being a collaborator, but I guess I am, so I was able to merge it)
edit: some of these diffs are actually from meet your match because tf2basehud was never updated to reflect the final MYM update, just the competitive beta

If you're using a custom HUD you might want to try using the default one right now.
Very few custom HUDs are properly updated.
tsarI've been changing the info.vdf so the "1" is a "2" and deleting both GameMenu and MainMenuOverride. Some huds like WavesUi and FlawHud are crashing when you hit the "Find a Game" button (looking for a fix), but other than that, they work fine.
So it's not really "updating" so much as "quick patching so your HUD no longer crashes the game".
InoI just tested ahud and while in-game is fine the menu is bugged. From a quick glance the experience tracker is off and you can't redeem war paints at all.
That's because he didn't update anything. Your HUD animation files will still be missing all the new stuff, and any ingame menus other than mainmenuoverride and gamemenu will be missing new elements/changed elements.
