- VGUI .res files are now cached after loading, reducing framerate hitches. Custom HUD authors can disable this by setting vgui_cache_res_files to 0.

Custom HUD Versioning
- In order to reduce crashing and broken UI elements after updates, custom HUDs now must explicitly specify the version of the TF UI with which they are compatible
- Custom HUD files must now be installed as add-ons under the tf/custom/ folder. Loose .res files extracted to the game directory will not be loaded
- Custom HUDs must now contain a file named "info.vdf" in their root folder, with the key "ui_version" set to the TF UI version with which they are compatible
- The current TF UI version is 1
- Non-HUD add-ons under tf/custom/ will continue to work without an "info.vdf" file, but may not load .res files

– Replaced the penalty for the suicide or disconnection of a player. Instead of the elimination of round-end income, a living enemy player now receives compensation equal to the missed kill reward opportunity.
– On Valve official servers, the current map will be excluded from the vote options at the end of a match.
– Modified behavior of mp_endmatch_votenextmap_keepcurrent (default 1). When set to 0, the current map will be excluded from the end of match map vote panel.
– Full player hitboxes are now used by “cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 2” so that the circle appears closer to the target in 3D space.
– Fixed coin journal not being accessible from inventory UI.

Don't you dare bring that /s reddit stuff here! Speaking of reddit though, why does the Dota 2 reddit hate you? If I recall I heard something about that.

Slapfights happened. They love proprietary bullshit (and they seem to take a blind eye to people not getting credit for pointing things out or contributing something such as an alternate size), even though SteamDB's GameTracking literally gets the job done (all of it) in as soon as 60 seconds. It's a shame, because they're just chaining themselves and setting themselves up to have a concept known as a bus factor of 1 hitting them. In fact, it's already happened several times already, where people don't know what the fuck to do or where to look when "the competition" is unavailable for whatever reason.

Thousands of eyes on new things (AKA SteamTracking and GameTracking links) instead of unnecessarily relying on just two eyes ("the competition") is far, far better, not only in terms of ensuring that a bus factor is as close to infinity as possible, but also when it comes to larger stuff surfacing first.

– Fixed a bug allowing community servers to override certain game files.

– Significantly reduced holiday cheer.
– Added convars cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy and cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy_duration
— With “cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 1,” when a shot is fired, a 12 inch circle will be drawn at the Effective Range of the weapon, i.e, the farthest distance at which the shot is guaranteed to fall within a 12 inch circle.
— With “cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy 2,” when a shot is fired, a circle will be drawn at the surface that is aimed at showing the area that could have been hit by the bullet given its inaccuracy.
— cl_weapon_debug_show_accuracy_duration ( default 10 ) determines how long the debug circles last.
— The further the shot is into the spray sequence, the more red the circle will be.

- If you need to or want to use this branch, right-click on CS:GO in Steam, click "properties", go to the "betas" tab, and select the "13532" branch
- Be aware however that you'll have very limited access to things, and you won't be able to play Valve matchmaking of any sort
- If you're a server operator or a league/tournament admin that wishes to play on the previous version, use "+app_update 740 -beta 13532" in SteamCMD

- More shenanigans involving chickens, the death message added last update now also says: "She was yours for <x> seconds."
