I have them and can confirm that they are amazing, not just for the price. Combined with the foam tips of your choice they come close to what I imagine in the perfect workout IEMs: cheap, durable build, decent isolation, enhanced bass with clear everything else, and a mic with an Android remote.
I probably sound like a fanboy but man, I'm buying a backup pair right now.
Hey Max, if you want to show people on the internet one of your TF2 screenshots you need to upload it to an image sharing website such as imgur: http://imgur.com/ Then, post the link to the image.
Alternatively, you could upload the screenshot to your Steam Community page and share it with us from there. Good luck!
flametake out the vehicles and this game has potential
Toxikk dev on youtube commentAcutally, it's "Vehicular Game Modes" and they're totally optional. But a lot of people like them (incl. most of the dev team)... so we brought them. ;)
EIDT: RIP too late :[
Game looks really cool. It looks like what Halo could have and should have been if it were developed primarily for PC. The only thing that scares me is the lack of progression, as I fear the game will lose players fast after the "new game" feel wears off with no goals to work toward. Hopefully they integrate esports features or something directly into the game to create replayability.
Try completely uninstalling adobe flash/air from your computer, then download and install the newest version.
Also, try enabling the HTML5 youtube player if you haven't already: https://www.youtube.com/html5
I'm not trying to make any promises here, but unless your computer is having some serious issues TF2 should be running at least 60 fps at all times on your laptop with any decent config. However something is making your laptop really slow, slower than its supposed to be.
1) If you haven't already modified your power settings, make sure your laptop is plugged into AC power when you're trying to play games. By default, the CPU will run slower to extend battery life.
2) Try running Gamebooster to shut down a ton of background crap that could be hogging all your computers resources.
3) If your laptop is running hot, it will slow itself down to prevent overheating. Try getting a laptop cooler and see if that helps your fps.
4) Make sure your HDD is set to defrag on a schedule (I think Win8 does this automatically). Try verifying TF2's game cache.
5) Update your graphics drivers just in case.
6) Try setting the -autoconfig launch option, this will make TF2 ignore any graphics configs and set all video settings to default just in case you have some strange setting that's crippling your performance.
7) Finally, if all else fails try reinstalling TF2 and forgoing all configs to see if a fresh install of TF2 with no altered settings still runs like garbage.
Heads up Monoprice has the EC1-EVO and the AM both on sale for 37.04 which I'm pretty sure is a great deal:
EC1 EVO: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=114&cp_id=11401&cs_id=1140101&p_id=10230&seq=1&format=2
AM: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=114&cp_id=11401&cs_id=1140101&p_id=10229&seq=1&format=2
Would it be possible to list the time zones in the standard "UTC ±X" format instead of various cities?
03 RSX-S that I love to death. I've had her for almost 5 years and it's long since been paid for, the best kind of car.
nonishooliI don't need to make a video but you can clearly see in nonis' vod that there is 0 delay between when m1 is depressed and released; an action humans are incapable of performing.how did i not notice that lol
To add some basic numbers to this:
At 16:02 in the VOD located here: http://www.twitch.tv/nonis3/b/549248109
at tick 6271 mouse2 (+attack2) was depressed to zoom in
at tick 6282 mouse2 (-attack2) was released
at tick 6383 mouse1 (+attack) was depressed to shoot
at tick 6383 mouse1 (+attack) was released
As a reference point a tick is 1/66th of a second (TF2 servers are locked to 66 tick). This means that mouse1 would have to be depressed AND released all in less than 1/66 of a second aka 15 ms.
Now this last part I know is a bit of a stretch but I thought it was interesting/amusing so here it goes anyway:
If you were to click 66 times every second you would end up with 660 clicks in 10 seconds in this neat little game http://www.brainbashers.com/10seconds.asp
I got 79.
I could see instant replay working if you had something like shadowplay constantly recording the last 2 minutes (60 fps) while streaming. Then, when you want to replay something stop the recording and open it with a video player in fullscreen and playback at half speed (30 fps).
If you had separate scenes already made for TF2 and the video player, and only switched scenes after the video player was already fullscreen, it would be a pretty seamless stransition. The only glaring issue I see with this is the fact that it's a lot of work to be a cameraman and this only adds to the workload.
Tino_only thing i care about is the music, got a link?
Daft Punk - Instant Crush
PLEASE put up a 60 fps download. It's very important that I add this to my collection.
I guess the only real plugin that's useful would be sizzlingstats. Other than that, a config that turns on tournament mode and sets up some win conditions is all you need to play a pug.
