If you think that everyone has reasonable view on rape and it's victims, go take a look at Reddit (or pretty much any other user-run website, for that matter). In a better world, rape victims wouldn't be ostracized, but this isn't that better world. It happens, and it's fucking terrible.

And yes, this campaign is focused towards youth. There's a massive difference in making gay jokes with a self-realized homosexual adult, and making those same jokes with a 16 year old homosexual that hasn't been able to come into their own yet. Same with sexual jokes, racial jokes, disability jokes, and any others you can think of.

No, it's just that this is something I run into all the time. Psych majors, English majors, anything else, when you're in school you think you're the definitive authority, because you've had this whole new world opened to you that a large portion of the world is seemingly ignorant to. Then you get out of school and into the field, and you realize how little you know. Same thing happened to me.

Damn, had to move this weekend, had to miss Friday and Saturday, but I will sure as hell be there tomorrow at opening time! Hoping I can still find a roster spot for the TF2 tourney. My wife will be there as well, to tell us apart, find the non-ugly one.

If I'm not mistaken, it sounds like it will likely be PUG-style, where the teams are made sort of on a whim. If not however, then I'd also love this info.

You can only schedule 4 hours in advance. The blocks of hours keep changing. I'm guessing they do that to limit flake-outs and stuff.

I'll definitely be down for horribly embarrassing myself in a LAN PUG of some sort.
