I'm very busy lately with a handful of different things, but if I could answer some questions and possibly review a demo if you want to add me on Steam.

I support #1 and #2. That would be awesome.
I've had my qck for about 4 years and I'm pretty sure there are spots that make my mouse tracking inaccurate. It jitters a bit, but never noticeable in-game. It looks pretty worn and I'm probably due for a new mousepad, but it was a great mousepad in the meantime.
I had the Goalithus a while back, and that was awesome until I spilled a full glass of iced tea all over it ._.
It's an acquired taste but I like it after giving it a chance.
I think that the medium health pack should be a bottle / small health pack at the second point. I think the defending team doesn't have too much difficulty defending the second point while standing in that room, and a team defending last shouldn't face even more difficulty pushing out to retake second point when the other team has a medium health pack to fall back to.
I also think the respawn timers are pretty long across the entire map.
VortexTheFragileMGE pretty much forced me to stop twitch aiming and use a lot more strafe aiming. After I became pretty accustomed to that, I made a mindful effort to replicate a lot of what I was doing in MGE into pugs and such. But yeah, there's no big secret to improving your aim other than to keep practicing.I'm really reliant on movement for hitting shots because of playing way too much MGE and I wish I wasn't. I'd say practice DM so you don't fall into the habit of playing scout v scout where you try to learn people's movement patterns instead of being able to track/flick to them.
Well, no one should be fixated on strafe aiming completely, considering there are many different situations where strafe aiming isn't possible or viable. But yeah, a mix of MGE and deathmatch servers would help.
Off-topic, but during the plane home from one of the ESEA LANs, waar sat directly behind me. Probably the most ridiculous coincidence I've had in forever.

Though I didn't technically play any matches on metalworks (but I did scrim it a bunch), metalworks isn't very good imo. The spawns were too long, the last point sucked, and the second point needs to be reworked.
I never thought yukon or warmfront were too bad. The last points were kinda meh, but I think metalworks has more problems than yukon and warmfront.
I haven't had a chance to check out edifice, but I think we should consider that because a lot of the problems with gpit seem to be fixed now. The fixed-spawns version of granary should definitely be used as well.
Warsow is actually a very good game, but last I checked it was pretty dead. I would much rather play Quake Live, but having that CPM movement is always nice to go back to. :]
If it's a 26 slot Chicago, that would make a pretty good server for MGE / Surf / Jump maps.
Enigma could also put it up on the server list on the side bar on this website, too.
Very chill and friendly bro.
I had a really awesome time meeting everyone! The tournaments were fun and met some new and old faces. Unfortunately I didn't get to do all the things I wanted to do, like the highlander tournament and play SF4 with eXtine and others, but everything was still awesome.
I hear that there will be another LAN in the summer?
Where are the arrows? :p
I'll try this out sometime, but IIDX will always be the best, haha.
