That's interesting, because even stuff from 1 week ago was listing it as 20nm. Either way, if they're putting 4096 SPs on there, you can bet they've made an efficiency breakthrough.

Do you have evidence that Fiji is going to be on 28nm? I haven't seen a single report make that claim.
With a 670 I would upgrade on the next cycle. 20nm is going to be interesting! As for when that is, probably next summer or fall honestly.
I think a lot of these suggestions are good. As long as we can still find non-TF2 streams from TFTV streamers somehow, I'm happy. Perhaps a TF2 Only filter that defaults to on.
Just play demoman against good* opponents as much as you can, whether it's mge with someone that won't whine about stickies, dm, pugs, or scrims. If someone bitches about you using stickies in mge/dm, just play against someone else. As much as I hate stickies, i really need practice in fighting against them.
*you don't have to seek out legendary players and challenge them one by one to earn badges and advance to the elite 4, just make sure you're not fighting pubbers
I like how your name is blue and your name is blueberry, I'm already sold
i like songs like this at a pretty low volume
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB3sXtq2VYQ
the artist has stuff that a lot less monotonous but i like boring stuff to just keep my ears from getting distracted by random noise
let's nerf demoman by putting lots of low ceilings everywhere so they can only shoot stickies like 3 feet forward
mustardoverlordhonestly, I think the only really viable nerf would be to reduce stickies from like 8 to 6.
I think with a minor pipe buff (like 100 minimum damage + slightly better reload time) a sticky nerf would be a lot easier to swallow.
edit: sticky and easy to swallow jesus christ
4hpsmoboas much as i love the idea of matchmaking with both or either of the comp formats, i'm not exactly excited to play against the Pomson/short circuit in any of them. valve has more to do than just making a lobby system if they expect it to be fun.
To be honest you shouldn't expect either of those weapons to affect highlander that much, if at all. I personally consider the Pomson terrible and not worth using: if you're running level 3 sentries you'll want the rescue ranger, and if you're on offence with minis literally any of the shotguns is more useful. I won't trade half of my DPS for a gimmicky uber removal device. The short circuit... yeah, it could see some uses, but only with minis. I don't really see the point in running level 3 without a wrangler.
I think there are tons of times when a pomson does as much as a shotgun.
1. Long range spam, you're hitting for mid 20s instead of like 6s or 9s. And you've got 10% uber advantage on every medic hit.
2. Fighting scouts or spies close range is easier, because the projectile will hit for full damage (like 60s) with a large hitbox rather than pellet spread making it hard to do full damage against a slender target.
3. Any time you fight a spy, he can't dead ring, and he probably won't succeed in cloaking away. And the dead ringer is so obnoxiously effective when they only play the flank to avoid the pyro and refuse to ever die.
Since the engineer is a support class that plays with a sentry at his side at all times, a little loss in close combat 1v1 capability is not significant, because he's got his flank with him on 5cp or the combo with him on payload. I'd consider it an upgrade in low level competitive, but in high level comp lots of good engineers would still get more done with the shotgun.
AvastIf you somehow think that the short circuit with lvl 3 sentry would not utterly break the game and make the engineer a god tier class you need a brain scan.
you're kind of a dick
MonsignorRoninSo what should I do ? any tips for fixing this ?
When I listed possible causes, I meant for those to be avenues of investigating the issue.
smobocauses could be a dying video card, driver errors, overheating, or an overclock that's no longer stable. I don't think it's TF2's fault.
When did the issue start and what changed around then? What is your video card? How long have you had it? what temperatures is it reaching while idle and while gaming? and specifically when this is happening? is it overclocked or is there any software that could have changed its voltage or clock speeds? can you try underclocking it? What drivers version is installed? Have you tried completely uninstalling your drivers (perhaps with a utility like Driver Sweeper) and reinstalling the latest version?
I can't imagine why this would be causing it, but you can try verifying the game cache and then deleting your entire /tf/ folder because it houses everything that's different about your game compared to anyone else's, and the game will reconstruct it on launch.
Low level highlander teams don't recruit here, check out the UGC Recruitment Forums. It's also much easier to find an entry-level team in 6s over there.
Most scrims are after 8:00 eastern (or 7:00 your time) so I wouldn't worry about your schedule at all.
Good luck!
this is a kind of graphics artifacting where polygons get stretched really far because of a miscalculation somewhere between the game and your graphics card (inclusive).

I was just wondering why they haven't been updated in so long when i remembered how non-american dates work. This mod is awesome, and I wish I had known of the FPS benefit back when I used my craptop.
