Going to scrim this tomorrow if I can. Looks like a good change!
maramduke do you recommend performing unsolicited magic tricks?
omniI understand that UGC 6s is a joke. Teams that are in plat aren't close to the level of invite. If you put the invite competition into plat, you'd weed out the shitties in no time. Just as a disclaimer, I'm not saying you should go to UGC. It's merely the only example I have to use.
I'm absolutely with you there. If everyone treats UGC 6s like a serious league, it will be a serious league. UGC has recently expanded their 6s staff and is taking steps to address a lot of the issues that have been brought up lately, such as sandbagging teams and low standards for Platinum.
Don't take this as an anti-ESEA post, as anyone can recognize the benefit of LAN, prize money, and exposure that ESEA brings. I just think UGC 6s would be in a better place if people simply respected it more.
I recommend deluding yourself into thinking that a girl in your life would solve all your problems, and obsessing over that so that you never let yourself be happy
Would IRL DDOSsing just be Black Friday at Walmart?
lemon_pulpsmobo I'm glad it was released, but I can't help but think it was a marketing hoax.
In a world where Movie Studios hold political sway. Comes a movie so revealing of the inner workings of the political network, it will BLOW YOU AWAY!
This Summer, join Tinfoil Helmet, the owner of Sony Movie Studios. A man so powerful, he somehow managed to get the President of the United States in on a marketing ploy to speak in front of the entire country during a press release to confirm North Korean cyber attacks on a movie studio...

Very mature of you.
ApHThe fact that there isn't any random crits in the new gamemode makes wanna hug someone
The mode with no random crits is also the mode where you can play heavy with no falloff and fly around the map
I'm kind of confused about what valve is trying to do
Good if you like Seth Rogan movies, bad if you don't. it's a solid comedy that is on par with their work, but it's not going to be memorable for anything other than its subject matter (which is a pretty good premise for a movie).
I'm glad it was released, but I can't help but think it was a marketing hoax.
I wasn't ready for this
^ list of people that quit tf2 fairly recently?
mustardoverlordalso I dont mean to brag but
http://teamfortress.tv/thread/6333/remove-anonymity-from--frags
IM THE OG OF THIS SHIT
yeah either remove anonymity or remove the system altogether either would be a good change
optimize, i agree with you! My only problem is how you fix that. People who act like assholes simply don't care about others, so it's not like they're just gonna "oh ok i'll be more respectful." I'd like to hear your thoughts on that.
phraxobe_to whom is it referring to?
look i support everything you've said in this thread but please don't slaughter your prepositions like this
ok i'm about to get REALLY off topic, but i'm pretty sure "whom" is for the direct object of the sentence, and in "to whom is it referring to?", the picture is the subject and "whom" is the object.
anyway this thread is dead, nobody seems to support any idea that would encourage people to join competitive tf2 so there's not a whole lot to discuss
miwodont count on the world changing itself around you, count on changing yourself.
It's good advice, really, and it's definitely something I've thought about before. However, we're talking about a community-wide issue of "How do we get more people to play competitive TF2?", which is the subject of the thread. My response to that question is that we should clean up the forums (and other community features like tf2center) to create a more welcoming community, since we can't alter the attitudes of people that are bothered by trash talk and slurs.
