while diamond5's post is long, do take the time to read it. And I'd like to echo the same sentiment. since comp.tf is currently down and for who knows how long, a lot of liquipedia editors (jmax/samus/alfredodan/lacy/diamond5 to name) have been able to scrap pieces of what is essentially forgotten comp tf2 history. I've had many good discussions with diamond5 discussing obscure tf2 events and his ability to dig up old information is astounding.
Please help out if you can this guy does a ton of work that not many ppl know about!
fygI ran some of the worst pugscrims mankind has ever seen
i second this
_Kermitsiyohas anyone played the June 13 2025 and May 23 2025 ones. I would like to see your scores for those days
7/10 on the June one, and 8/10 on the May one.
currently the highest of our discord on may 23. i'm a 6/10 that shit was too hard
on the fireside discord we have an avid group of scrandle dailies players so i made a scrandle channel where we share our daily scores. if you'd like to contribute please feel free to join our discord - https://firesidecasts.tv/discord

When did we do coverage of Asia wtf (I genuinely didn't even know we were covering this)
Hello!
As we plan events for 2026 (yes, slight spoiler) and 2027, I make the request for monetary support to Fireside via either:
- Subscribing to us on Twitch (we receive 50% of all Twitch subscriptions)
- Pledging a monthly amount to our Fourthwall Memberships platform (we receive everything - tax)
- Fireside Merch!
- Donating via our website
We use all of our proceeds towards our events. We maintain a full finances transparency sheet (last updated after Denver) here.
Most, if not all our budget accumulated via these multiple sources went towards:
- Physgun Fireside Denver 2025 Prize Pool
- Helping lessen the financial burden of volunteer staff attending the Denver LAN
- Retroactively compensating people for their years of work at Fireside (the majority of this went to everyone at Fireside. Me, antlers, resin, and lacy barely took any of this
- Website and server upkeep
If we are compensated for coverage of other tournaments, we also primarily focus on paying our broadcast talent. After our coverage of the MGE.TF 1v1 World Championship, each caster and producer were rewarded over $100 each for their work over the weekend. IIRC Fireside took a very small cut of the amount, of which is pooled towards an event in the future.
Thank you!
plinko the goat...
Huge part of this article:
If you are curious about how RGL expenses are covered or how league fees are allocated, an updated article on RGL’s finance basics is in the works for release sometime in the next month or two.
Curious to see this when it comes out
50/50 cu@. if so would love to work on site and help where needed
Fireside will be covering Intermediate Grand Final & Newcomer Semi Finals this week, cu@
Fireside will be covering Main Lower Bracket Final & Grand Final, cu@
hey so me and bethnicz are working on another lore video (probably our last one together) and we're looking for any footage any people recorded of wg eu at any of the lans they've been in
if you're willing to help us out reach out to me on discord - siyo_.
thanks
seems like more of the issue is that there's no people willing to run/organize the tournament in eu. there's always a willing team that will organize/run the tournament in north america because there's personal investment into the format/tournament itself (e.g. mge/jump fortress but tbh idk if jump fortress is NA based) but you don't really see it in EU. just my two cents though
