the sennheiser PC350SE i got is pretty good (the mic is good too), even if a little expensive, also you'll need an ampli or an audio card with ampli built in to drive it, cause of their 150ohms of impedance.
prolly the best thing now is to buy a good pair of headphones, audio technica, sennheiser, beyerdynamic, koss, etc... and a desk mic or clip, also the newer version of the mod-mic doesn't sound as good as previous versions, and it's pretty expensive, any ~10€ desk/clip mic will pretty much do the same
