i mean even if there's only 1 example of it, it's irrelevant because theoretically every NA plat player would know more about captaining NA based HL pugs than any EU player. yet most NA plat players don't have captain, so it doesn't make sense why any EU player does.

ok i really don't care how good of a player you are, if you're from EU, you don't know who the vast majority of the player base is - NA plat players. if you don't know how good most of the players are and decide to pick ur euro buddies bcuz u know them, even if you know they aren't very good, then you shouldn't have captain.

back on topic, hlpugs.tf is a lot more successful than i thought it would be. every night there's routinely 60+ people on the site, and last night there actually weren't any servers available because there were already 4 pugs going on. that's 72 players playing pugs, plus there were 22 added up that were waiting. there are a few bugs here and there, but nothing major.

ok anyone who says firing faster is a nerf is silly. if you're that bad at tracking you can take your time to hit your shots by tapping instead of holding m1. you just have the option to fire faster now.

Competitively, the gun is obsolete. There is no reason to use the ambassador over the revolver or l'etranger. Long range, revolver does more, and close-mid range, revolver is so much more consistent. 2 bodyshots does more than 1 headshot. The only use for the ambassador now is 2 shotting snipers wearing the razorback close range - which the revolver could do in 3 anyway

i always assumed thaigrr had a night job or something so he would be awake at 4am anyway

setting an alarm to wake up at 4am to play tf2 sounds like something i would not want to do

if the update was released as a christmas update after the pyro update id be happy with it

but 450+ days of waiting an no competitive matchmaking changes and tons of bugs and things not working? absolutely not worth it. kinda makes u wonder if they actually gameplay tested their update at all
