i think the best 5 are currently the top 5 but all 7 teams are pretty good so it'll probably be close!

is there any way to see live results of the poll? Seems like there's a pretty clear distinction of the top 5 and the bottom 2 but maybe it's just because i have a ton of experience following these teams way too closely.

Perhaps a full poll of CEVO-M/CEVO-P (assuming that's where you're headed when you add divisions) captains after the season with every weapon followed by a community poll on weapons that were within a certain threshold of split votes? It'd be a pain in the ass to get captains to vote on every item for sure, but if you could get through it just once you'd have that base.

Plus that would at least partially satisfy both camps (the "invite players should be the only vote" crowd and those who want more equal representation).

A nomination system would be another interesting idea. How would you accept nominations?

Also, this is more hypothetical, but how does CEVO plan on treating weapons that are buffed/nerfed mid-season? A flat ban until the end of the season or a community vote?

Kind of a useless question now i guess but why were the gunboats up for vote but the basher wasn't? Both kind of fit in the same category for me of 'stock unlocks' and while I don't have a problem with gunboats being allowed (obviously) it seems weird that they were even up for a vote.

yeah i wasn't stating that as a bad thing or w/e there was a pretty big differential in esea-i this season even it was just an observation since i was under the impression there were more top level teams signed up
