i love how you're all blinded the amazing value of what literally amounts to peanuts to the point where you're willing to spend time on this incredibly broken and unfun format

you're pretty much legitimising sigafoo's ignorant view of competitive tf2 by doing so

mafia_is_mafia5cp 6s is closer to Quake, in terms of skill floor whereas Payload, and A/D are more accessible and require less game sense(a good thing) to get started in and allows for all classes to be used far more than 5cp 6s.

they're shit gamemodes for 6v6 anyone who's played gorge or swiftwater in mm can already tell you that

Phoenix21 I have 80-100 ping and some packet loss so I use a high interp value (30.3-45.5) and even on medium range I don't see the pipe before it's already infront of my face.

dude i have good ping and low interp and i still don't see the pipe until it hits me half the time, it's absolute bullshit. My medic got fucked so hard with that weapon at massively fucking long ranges in our match this week because it's just so stupidly fast

but hey it's balanced because 'no rollers' amirite rofl

Geel9our esport is not large enough to warrant supporting.

Because valve's screwed competitive tf2 over at every turn over the last 9 years. Not because it wouldn't succeed if they actually gave a fuck about it or at least got out of the fucking way rather than giving casual idiots every reason to argue that tf2 wasn't intended to be competitive. Look at random crits. Look at fucking robin walker's public comments about how lolhl is a better representation of tf2. Not to mention his garbage about how he wanted the game to turn into dota.

If they spent 1/10th of the time it took them to add a million fucking awful looking hats into the game and 1/10th of the time it took them to think up the garbage quickplay system and hell maybe 1/100th of the braincells to realise that shitfest 12v12 pubs maybe aren't the best representation of the depth and strategy of gameplay that tf2 can offer then I would bet money that tf2 would be a more popular esport than csgo right now. Not that it's that hard given how little attention they give that game compared to vr and other irrelevancies.

JarateKingAs for classlimits, I think it might've come from reddit but a 2 class limit on offensive classes and 1 on everything else sounds fair, easy to explain, and isn't really any change from what's been used for years.

Actually that came from here and got repeated over on reddit a lot i'm pretty sure

not sure why the downvotes mitch's org isn't gonna cover anything that tflive would have otherwise and more coverage for the scene isn't a bad thing???

#1685 PC Build Thread in Hardware

My brother has a tiny budget (around $500 aud) and wants to get a pc to play csgo and rocket league, I was thinking of recommending he get a pentium g4400 because he can just scrape into the budget with it and a rx 460. I'm just wondering if there's any reason why he shouldn't go with the pentium, I know they were pretty popular for low end gaming rigs in the past but have modern games' power demands gone beyond the point where you can get away with it? The next step up would probably be an i3-6100 but that would probably nix any chance of a dedicated graphics card for now which isn't great.

This is an example build but we're probably going to get a diff case and maybe motherboard as well, plus network card.
