mbam came up with a pretty serious trojan, along with a bunch of log files with my passwords and other junk in it

You have to do this. I hope you already have at least started working with Steam Support, but if you haven't, go for it. Presuming someone just swiped your password and hijacked your inventory, Steam Support tends to have access to more than you can see and can probably restore your inventory.

Users are responsible for the security of their Steam accounts and computers, including the safekeeping of login information. It does not matter if a friend is using the account, or if the account was being borrowed by another user. It is up to the account owner to safeguard the account against such activities.

got on cs go this morning, realized a lot of my skins were gone. when i went and checked my inventory, i noticed a lot of other stuff was gone, and then i saw this :(
idk how they got on my account but i have steam guard on and nobody got on my email (at least according to the gmail ip log)
is there anything i can do? afaik steam support doesn't really help in these kinds of cases unless you lose access to the account
