even if PC is joining CLG (which I've only heard as a rumor, not 100% sure if true), Hiko always had the option to join team liquid. it seems like he felt as if the org, and team, was too loathe to cut players underperforming. I'm assuming he would have joined TL to replace daps, so maybe that wouldn't have been as much of an issue, but after C9 I think Hiko wants a team hungry enough to make roster moves if they're blatantly necessary.

TL was still prolly a better choice than Nihilum tho, but who knows, maybe this'll become Hiko and Semphis' team and they can manage it from now on and make changes when needed.

autimatic and sancz pug a shit ton with Semphis and autimatic plays hella socal lans so I think there was a sort of natural bias there for Semphis and Hiko

The entire time that coL was coL and not C9, Hiko was the team's best fragger. Hiko was shit in the months before his quitting, true. You know who else was shit in that time? Semphis, sgares, n0thing and shroud. The team as a whole was playing AWFUL.

Hiko has 100% not been straight ignored, he has several offers already and he's declined them himself, and C9 was forced to pay Skadoodle 20k up front to keep him from joining up with Hiko

Ask any top NA player, Hiko is one of the most well-respected players in the scene

if someone hasn't been on a real team for months, and is just subbing in for LANs and shit, they aren't going to look their best

the peak that Hiko reached on an individual level has not been matches by any other NA player with the possible exception of swag
