In the past few days I've had the world's worst stomach flu, I've had to watch as 30% of my weight was jettisoned violently from my body and I've subsisted on a diet of pills, oyster crackers and red powerade. Basically I've walked through the valley of the shadow of death, and have emerged from the trial a stronger man.

In all seriousness, I think the reason Platinum never got shit for also talkin trash was because he never seemed obsessed with building up his persona as a "good person". Every one of b4nny's responses in this thread has emphasized a) how he mentors people and makes himself constantly available on stream, b) how racist and homophobic showstopper/ash/etc. can be, and c) describing himself as a reasonable person who is willing to respond when provoked. All three of these may be true to varying degrees (the first two clearly are), but it's irrelevant, and I think people don't like him trying to justify his actions so heavily. Platinum had the luxury of just not giving a fuck.

I'm assuming that b4nny needs to win i58 after talkin all that mess, which means he needs to slowly start bringing back blaze/shade/lansky

the one thing I'll say, not in defense of b4nny but as an admonition to everyone else here, is that you can look pretty silly if you start diagnosing people over the internet and telling them to seek help etc.

like if you do it as a joke or just to toss an insult back at someone in the middle of an argument that's fine, but don't act all high and mighty like you ain't got problems too

that being said, SOLELY in the context of tf2, b4nny definitely has issues admitting anything is his fault ever, like to a greater degree than anyone else
