#30 NA Invite Top 100: #30-#21 in News

I have my issues with some rankings, but I know that even if I were to make my own list people would complain about it.

like, realistically, I'd probably have ash like 17th or something, giving him a bit more credit for his high-end accomplishments and for coming back in a more mechanical era and still finding success. but top 10? there are a LOT of sick players, and I can't exactly put him above seagull, or yomps, or shade etc.

lol was this clip ever explained or talked about at all...? I need to know the lore behind this very obvious aimlock onto the soldier because I can't see this being anything else. it's even more obvious if you .25 it... is this another one of those "this guy probably cheated but it's tf2 so who cares" type vibes?

it's very simple- people don't wanna be wrong or look salty/uninformed, so everyone half-jokingly says people are cheating all the time; then if anyone finds proof, we all pile on and say "I KNEW IT, LOOK WHAT I SAID A YEAR AGO", and if the person goes to lan and pounds and nothing comes out we say "I was just kidding trololol"

DreamboatI think the name I'm most intrigued to see where Tery places on this list is Ruwin
I also think Tery will place him lower than I would on the list, which is totally fair.

I think most people would underrate ruwin if they didn't see him at his absolute peak, as short as it was

THEBILLDOZERdbksome of yall taking this shit way too seriouslyif my favorite invite player, okiewaka, does not make top 10 on this list, i am going to kidnap tery and execute him isis style on stream at rgl lan

as a tf2 shia, I believe that one day the occluded mahdi (Tony Swan) will return and defeat the forces of evil (b4nny) once and for all

WhovianPeople really bagging on the boomers this list includes? You don't see people trashing Athletes from back in the day because there times are shit in comparison to current records. So why we judging players who competed on shit box 2008 PCs without MGE, Aim trainers, Jump Maps and 13 extra years of strategy refinement? Honest question?

I totally agree with this (in sports too, I love me some bill russell and slingin' sammy baugh), my issues with the list have more been in a) overvaluing lan wins vs other wins and b) overvaluing longevity vs peak

but re: boomers I think, for instance, that both Kalkin and artist belong on this list, because they both won a season of invite and beat b4nny in the process which is impressive; some might put Kalkin higher cuz he did it on lan, or artist higher cuz he did it in a higher skill era, but overall I don't see how you could have one without the other

id prolly put corsa higher and justin lower, but again this is a great group of players

destro was probably the demo most frequently considered to be the best before b4nny came along (even above solidsnake), so him making the top 50 is not crazy to me

IloSSpeaking of Mackey's off-classing I'm almost certain he had a play on badlands where he would go engi on offense. His team pushed and i think it didn't go that well. But he came in at the end of the push and placed a sentry lower entrance and got the cap thanks his level 1 sentry. I remember it as such a crazy and epic play!

pretty sure this was at i46

brodyheres my outraged grape fanboy post

I personally think this ranking is extremely fair for grape, I don't think he really made top 2 that much (other than the 3rd place b4nny season)

I may quibble with a bit of the ordering here or there but this is a pretty good selection of players overall

ww was a legend, I may honestly have him even higher tbh
