albaCasters can make it intresting while watching but stalemates will still be boring from a players perspective. If there is too many stalemates not even casters can make it intresting in my opinion
Never played in prem, but for me stalemates are quite fun as well. You have to stay conscious and be ready to react promptly to any action that happens out of nowhere. Lowpander learnt it the hard way, when drackk managed to drop vani due to the flank not being watched.
Imho the problem during 7 vs loupounder match was the mix of stalemate + a long pause due to Hildreth's timeout. Stalemates can be fun to watch if casters were to know what to do during them. Instead of focusing on each team's tactics to break the stalemate and spectating offclasses and teams' compositions they just got bored at some point and started complaining about the game.
At some point during the pause, casters started talking about possible changes to cp_badlands. I liked that, I immediately started listening to them and then discussed these changes with others who were watching the stream, too.

osvaldoplugin crashed again today on process: respawn times set themselves to 15 secs or so and health regen got disabled as well
Yeah, the plugin is being forced to unload because of its memory leaks. I'll try to look at this and fix it as soon as possible.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Idk about NA, but in EU there is no need for more than 3 servers, at least for now. Hardly ever are there more than 36 players added and the cause of it is that it is awfully hard to get picked for the first couple of times, so new players don't come. The only way to play PugChamp if you never played it is to add up when there're 11/12 gamers (at like 2am) or play medic as there is always a shortage of these on pugs. Right now EU PugChamp is just a closed circle of high/prem players with a few exceptions of mid/low players being picked. I have a couple of friends who tried to get to play pugs, but despite of being added the whole weekend they didn't get picked once. I understand captains would rather choose high or prem players than open ones, especially if they know them, there is no solution to that. But being more open to new players would be definitely a benefit.

This.
Also, why is MixChamp dead in Europe? It seems the perfect solution for people who want experience better than mumble-required lobbies and don't want to play at 2am in order to be picked on PugChamp.
Sad to hear news about ESEA. But the highlights are nutty.
What is wrong with non german servers
