That double post. But yeah, the same happens with Quake and TF2. It takes time to re-adjust sometimes, unless you play both consistently and get use to it. I believe Warsow is more fast-paced that makes it different from when you play TF2.

With the news of the new expansion, D3 going on console, and now the Auction House news. I feel many have forgotten about PvP which I think quite a number was upset about. It's nice and all to defeat monsters and play the stories on difficulties for a while, but eventually I think it gets tiring, so people use the AH to make it a bit more fun/different. If they actually didn't avoid making PvP(CALLING YOU OUT BLIZZARD) and really worked on it, the gameplay would have much more and everybody would be happy.

I don't think it's dying, just getting, I think the word is overrun? Dota 2 and LoL are somewhat able to just collect the viewers easily cause of how the game is played in my opinion. Now I'm not saying either game is shit or why one is "better". But in this gaming generation for PC, it's pretty much MOBA controlled I'd say. Thing about Dota 2 and LoL is that people understand it, heroes, and how it's played etc. more easily than StarCraft 2. The concept of having a cool character with spells and items with a team is enough to gain people more than a single person commanding and controlling units to defeat an enemy.

Although SC2 does have great production and commentators, it's what viewers want to follow more is the thing, it's not that easy to follow StarCraft 2 in maybe around the first 3 games you see, but in Dota 2 and LoL you can understand it in maybe within 1-2 games.

My final thought is that, I hope SC2 is NOT dying. It's a game that has incredible eSports history. Unfortunately, I think that the game is "boring" to other people by now after a few years and that new things like Dota have much more exciting entertainment. I feel that Blizzard needs to put in more effort in finding a way or thinking more on how to change this. It's time to follow Valve's example.

I believe when a regular player types status in console, they ONLY get their steam id.
But if someone with rcon/admin does it, they can get the IP.

Next time, put in console "status" to get his steam id, he probably only changed his steam community ID I think you mean.
