I don't think anyone actually snipes so they can learn how to deal with high pressure situations.

Play this, then you will realize DBZ is more worth your time.
I don't have an FPS cap
oh hey, you're right. thanks!
Maps that aren't mirrored for both sides can make a map pretty imbalanced if you're not careful. Gravelpit is an example of a non-mirrored map that is balanced.
Also if there are just way too many chokes and way too many entrances/exits/flanks (look at Follower), the map won't play that well.
Okay, I apparently can't type it in this post without it acting weird, but what about putting links inside of text, like how SPUF does it? Could be useful.
Alleal, you're acting as if it's possible to never get hit. It's not. I also don't see what the big deal is when you can just play scout or soldier w/ shotgun. If sniper were to be unbanned, I would rather him only be allowed to use the SMG and melee. The SMG provides some actual help towards your DM compared to using just the rifle, while at the same time making you less of an annoying faggot across the map, out of the way of everyone.
AllealPracticing fighting good snipers is actually a thing. Most people don't know how to do it, not that it's really their fault since most Snipers aren't that good
Do you want me to tell you how many good snipers there are in TF2? Probably less than 2% of the people who actually play the class. I don't think you have to worry about getting consistently destroyed by a sniper in DM to the point where you'll have to come up with DM strats to deal with him.
You're giving the class too much credit.
would have to ask turts about that. he had/has his own dm mod accuracy plugin
if you decide to not do it for that, then do it for the sake of practicing with smg
Tried with dx9, same problem. Defragging/verifying now
This has to be a problem with one of the latest updates. Too bad I can't make my game look like an N64 game anymore, I think.
BeaterI'll gladly admit that the colors are a little random. I mainly added color-correction because I always get a ton of "you didn't add cc" comments, even when I do add CC, so i wanted to see what happened when I put no cc on the intro and cc in the rest of the movie :P
Let me be the first to tell you, color correction isn't what makes a video good. On the flip side, terrible CC can ruin a video. Fortunately, your choice of coloring wasn't necessarily bad and it didn't affect how good/bad the video turned out to be. I don't care how beautiful games like Crysis or Far Cry 3 are, TF2 in its entirety is a beautiful game to me. It doesn't really need color added onto it to make it look good. In fact, most color added to TF2 takes away some of that beauty.
If done right, it's possible to make it look better but it would have to be pretty subtle of a change. If I may give you a suggestion, I would invest in using the plugins: levels, hsl adjust and, if you want, unsharpen mask. Now "unsharpen mask" doesn't affect colors or anything of that sort, but it definitely makes the video look better.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maV9FdV3OP0&hd=1 This is what TF2 looks like with max settings and those plugins applied, adjusted in my own way. As you can see, no changes in the games color yet I made the game look a little bit better. That's all you need to do with TF2. Don't listen to the people who complain because you don't use CC.
