#33 What interp is the best? in TF2 General Discussion

thanks for the info, ukm. someone had told me that it's not a big deal with whichever you choose for hitscan and i guess it made sense.

#22 You can use 0.0152 with scout, but considering how close 0.033 is to 0.0152, it doesn't really make a difference (plus it's hitscan). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think people still use 0.033 because awhile back when people were figuring this stuff out, they realized that it is a good balance; "just right", so to speak.

For myself personally, if I go anything lower than 0.033, such as 0.0152 for projectiles, the numbers become orange and I think that represents packet loss(?) or something else negative. I don't entirely remember. It's either orange or yellow you have to worry about.

#18 Can't kill AV process in Off Topic

Windows Defender is already turned off. As far as virus detection goes, I've been pretty well off with MSE.

#5 Another bhop vid in Off Topic

Read this (mainly just the Lawena section)

I'm not sure if I covered this in that thread, but in Sony Vegas use the plugins: HSL Adjust, Levels and sometimes Unsharp Mask. Those are really the only plugins you need to make the game look better while keeping the game's natural look.

wareya0.033 is only correct when your cmdrate and updaterate are set to 66 ticks per second.

Shouldn't those be set to 66 anyway?

Is this your channel? If so, I think it would be neat to make a compilation video with as many bhop spots as you know.

if i could plus frag you an extra time for the song i would

You mean Real Time Protection? That doesn't close MsMpEng.exe, which is what I'm trying to accomplish. It's funny though, because any changes I make to the settings via the program itself that requires administrator rights (UAC prompt) allows me to do it, but I'm unable to close the .exe even with administrator privileges.

Browny, I'm the only user on here, so I'm automatically the administrator. I tried what you suggested on post #8 through the services. When you right click on a started or stopped service, the option to start/stop is in black while other options are probably grayed out. For MsMpEng.exe, all of it is grayed out. Started, but can't be stopped.
