That wouldn't be of much use for teams looking for players, if that's what you're getting at #15.

Browny, I any option to start, stop or whatever to it are grayed out.
It must have something to do with my privileges, which would make no sense as I 100% have privileges to enable/disable the service of whatever I want.

Now to think about it, since the pope is stepping down, b4nny should take his place.
For both #4 and #5, I get "Access is Denied". I've Googled this problem before and double checked to see if I had privileges for my AV. I do, but I still get this anyway.
edit: I just made sure yet again, and I still have full privileges for all of my AV.
As of a couple months ago, I stopped being able to kill my anti-virus' process in task manager. I'm the only user on my PC, so I'm automatically the administrator. I have all rights and privileges with my folders and files. I use Microsoft Security Essentials, and I can't close the program by exiting out of it through the program itself.
Any idea of what I can do?
By the way things are looking, the next TF2 update will address this issue slightly as the main issue itself isn't known. It's only a small fix, so the results may or may not be noticeable.
Other than that, I won't hear anything more about it until they can figure out what the main issue is and fix it in a later update.
Bruce DawsonI found that some slow frames were being triggered by a long-standing perf-bug that I fixed a couple of days ago, but the main issue is not clear. We’ll see.
I'm going to send him some more traces when I play later. I'll keep this updated.
In case anyone doesn't know what a "perf-bug" is (it's kind of clear), it's just a shortened way of saying performance bug.
I asked if this fix he made a couple of days ago would be seen in an upcoming update or if he's going to wait until he figures out the main issue. I'll post back with whatever answer.
Fzerohell I would have payed $80 but knowing EA they will spew out $100 or more worth of dlc just like they did with sims 3.
At least Sims 3 is a good game. Though I do agree on the seemingly infinite DLCs they released for it.
FzeroThey're made that way because people accept half games, if you do not allow it they would be forced to change.
Good luck convincing the majority of gamers to not buy into this kind of shit.
i've been using music i've chosen on every video i have made up until this video. deallll
I'll be following these instructions he emailed me for VTrace when I scrim tonight as I seem to notice it more then than when I pub (dunno why, but whatever works). I asked Bruce if he could email me what caused this problem once he analyzes the traces sent to him. He said he'll try if he can. If he does, I'll post here. If not, I'll post whatever else he emails me.
Bruce DawsonJon/Kirby, I’m interested in investigating this problem. You can help us by installing a program that will let us capture detailed profile information. This program is called VTrace.
VTrace is a tool for recording detailed performance information about Windows computers and it is designed to allow diagnosing of performance problems in Valve games. It records ETW (Event Tracing for Windows) traces which contain detailed information about your computer. Because ETW is a system-wide profiler it records information about all activity on your machine, not just Valve games. It records details about your hardware, programs running on your computer, and files and registry keys accessed. VTrace does not record the contents of files on your computer, just the paths of files accessed while tracing is enabled. Within Valve games it also records user input, and if "Record Input" is checked it records user input in all programs. Tracing will only be enabled when VTrace is running. Vtrace only records traces - it does not automatically send them to Valve. You can choose to send the recorded traces to Valve, if you are working with Valve on a customer support issue. Valve will use the traces you send to assist with your customer support issue, and will protect the information in accordance with Valve's privacy policy.
If this sounds reasonable then I can send you an unlocking code for VTrace.
Step 1 complete.
